I set out to find more retail and restaurants on the east and west highway that travels through GF. I went East. Took me four hours til I found something. I went West. Took me 18 hours to find something.

I bet a lot of people would love to rent a boat/pontoon from there. If you ever been to Itasca State Park. They have a similar rental shop that is always busy. The proposed $300+ million gf sales tax, they should take some and build a real building and rent stuff year round.

I see New York's fireworks show on NBC is downtown on the river and not a cornfield on the edge of town.

That's just it. The EGF one is the best movie theater in the area by far. Even Fargo doesn't have anything that can match it. There's now even a movie themed bar and restaurant attached to it. Not too mention all the other great restaurants within a few seconds walk. Great for date night.

Maybe the city can use some of the $300 million tax proposal for a motorized trail. Problem solved. Why fight it? Seems like the demand is there for it. People would love to take their golf carts for a nice evening ride on the greenway as the sunsets. Someone might want to tell the Greenway Dictator that golf carts are designed to be driven on grass without damage... Make Grand Forks Fun Again!
