  1. Wow those were some high standards back then. Guy was only here for three years and was expected to win it all at least two, if not all three years!
  2. Two teams won the Penrose Cup. UND finished behind DU in the official NCHC standings.
  3. Yes he should have won more than one Frozen Four game in his 15 years. Not very impressive.
  4. I love how finishing second* in the NCHC, not winning one game in St. Paul, and losing the first game of the NCAA is considered overachieving now. How did we get this far? *DU won the tiebreaker.
  5. So next year will they lack talent again? And hope to overachieve to a first round exit?
  6. 25% of the NCHC teams won the Penrose Cup this year.
  7. The steaks I've had at Maxwells have been some of the best I've had.
  8. Some anti corn mill plant "protesters" have a few screws loose.
  9. This is pretty much it. We are no longer "David."
  10. Watching UND at the Frozen Faceoffs in the Twin Cities is starting to feel like watching UND in the Frozen Fours.
  11. UND fans will be pulling for WMU tomorrow.
  12. These teams are pretty equal. WMU seems to want it more. They got that chip on their shoulder. New coach has them playing.
  13. Guess I found the answer in the top left of their signs:
  14. I would also like to thank the government for helping my rural home get internet. Should be finally be all hooked up and finished in a month or two.
  15. It's OK for the government to do stuff. To help advance society. "Why didn't a private company build roads." Here's a little known secret: The government even helped pay to spread electricity!
  16. The governor had a pretty good answer in your link:
  17. Farmers are excited about a potential new market for their corn.
  18. Greater than $0. The amount city would collect if they didn't come. And thousands in taxes by the employees from day one..
  19. Is it cause people don't like China? Tax breaks? That's pretty much a guarantee for any new building or business in any city. Infrastructure costs? Things that the city already needs or will eventually need. Or is it just anti Bochenski people who will cry anytime he does something?
  20. This is how journalism works in 2022 for the Grand Forks Herald: Somebody who went to college and works in Fargo (Nick Broadway) Or someone who lives in Michigan (Sam Easter) Will ask Social Media: "Did you have a bad time at the Alerus Center concert? We would love to hear from you. Drop us a line!" Or "Do you oppose the new business the city is trying to bring to town? We would love to share your story to rile everyone up for clicks!"
  21. Yup. Alerus was on social media telling people: go early, had maps of the suggested traffic, what to expect, and how they upped the beer limit to 4, no bottle caps allowed on drinks etc.
