  1. True but we are already seeing talks start to heat up. Plus they could use the old "economic development" of another 10,000 seats. Hotels/restaurants. Seems the dome is having more concerts sellouts recently.
  2. Since the Fargodome was built the Fargo area has added over 55,000 people. They really do need a bigger stadium. Especially for even more future growth. Plus it seems to me a lot of these types of buildings have 30 year lives. So I expect in about ten years you'll really start to see a push for a new facility.
  3. Just going off the blog that was posted here. They could add 10,000 seats for $75-$100 million it was stated.
  4. So you can build a new fargodome that seats 30,000 for under $100 million?

    Measure 5

Polls close at 8 I believe.
  6. ....revised end of season predictions coming up.

    Measure 5

I think so too. Once people started really looking into it.

    Measure 5

When do the results usually start rolling in?

    Measure 5

Wouldn't that be something. The measure fails and ND pharmacys start closing because of ACA.

    gas prices

E85 produces 27% less energy than pure gas, but usually the advertised "gas price" has 10% ethanol. If advertised e10 at $3.00, pure gas is usually in my experience as high as $3.20.

    gas prices

I agree. I try to buy pure gas for the better mileage but I at a $1 a difference for e85. I think it would be the better bargain.

So if you are driving a Flex fuel vehicle are you making bank? $2.08 for E85.

    Measure 5

Supporting or protecting? Isn't it limiting a free market and restricting competition? If everyone followed your lead, even if it passed you wouldn't be affected and could still spend those extra dollars. What if a grocery store had to be owned by a North Dakota farmer.

    Measure 5

Since ND is the only state where this happens are we ahead of the curve or behind it?
  15. We'll then, what was his reasoning for getting blown out?

    Measure 5

Measure 7. If I'm reading the political ads right. For lower prescription drugs vote yes or no. Win win?!
  17. I thought people here said the government pays LSS money. Don't they even get housing assistance? All I'm saying is those "older immigrants" fought hard to get here. The newer immigrants not so much.
  18. IIRC, It's funny. We are sending thousands of kids/people who go great lengths to come to America from Mexico/Central America often risking life and death to jail/camps. But we will gladly bring thousands over from overseas who speak no English and appear to be uneducated. All expenses paid. Both are fleeing for a reason. Why exclude one group and include another?
  19. Did they always get a handout helping them get here? Or did they save money and pursue their own American dream?
  20. www.grandforksherald.com/content/depression-frustration-experienced-some-refugees-during-adjustment Refugees experience frustration, depression moving. Must be hard to get a job not knowing any English and having no (formal) schooling. Might sound harsh but do we really want to just keep bringing over loads of uneducated adults? Doesn't seem good for the prosperity of this country.
  21. There was a body just discovered on the river banks of Moorhead. I'm guessing it was the older gentleman that just went missing.
  22. ...takes the popcorn and butter out.
  23. Play Bartles if he's capable. I don't care of they pulled a redshirt or not.
  24. Missouri State, who beat UND 38-0, is 1-4 in the MVFC.
  25. Looks like UNI might he pretty legit, winning big against previously undefeated Illinois State.
