Did you see the word "official slogan" I wrote? You know why I wrote "official"? To differentiate between having the athletic department ordering teams shirts vs captains sending out tagline tweets. As runaroundsioux pointed out last year appears to maybe be the first year. In that case "not the first year" is correct, but not because of "burn the ships."

That was copied from BU after their championship (I believe BU also had it on shirts for during their championship season). A few players tweeted it and such...quasi organic. The current one came from Berry it appeared and probably why shirts were made.

First time a UND team has had an official slogan...worked wonders.

You wanna be a Legend at UND?! Accomplish great feats that are rarely done: Win a championship. Get an impressive individual award (Hobey, Frozen Four MOP, etc). And show your committed to the program by staying awhile (watching them on senior night is preferred.)

In my lifetime, Panzer and Jewels. If they ain't raising that trophy on the last game of the season..they fade into "just another good player at UND." Knock knock"..."Who's there."..."second place."...."second place who"..."exactly." Goalies (less extent defenseman) are harder to judge, being only one plays. KG would defiantly have an argument.

Panzer played four years also. Two guys who brought UND to the "top of the college hockey world" ....with more heart and desire that pure talent and skill (relatively speaking of course).

People want the Sundevils to NCHC because it's a school well known school across the country. Hockey or not. It's better to take a first time non UND hockey "fan" to a game vs Arizona State than against, "Who? Where are they located?" That seems to dominate the college hockey landscape.

FBS talk comes and goes at schools with presidents and ADs. The interim AD publicly stated he wanted to see UND in the FBS before Faison was hired...the master plan football stadium at UND isn't for FCS. Point being there has indeed been public discussion of UND joining FBS as a long term plan.

Is the video board ten feet tall? Might be based on comparison to the guy in the video... Is it twice as wide as tall? Could be the finished product.
