  1. Looking for something to watch on that HD TV? The Wild and Wonderful Whites of West Virginia I was listening to a Joe Rogan podcast and he was mentioning this documentary about hillbilly's on all these pills constantly whacked out of their mind. It's produced by Johnny Knoxville and Co. If nothing else, it's highly entertaining.
  2. Surprised by all the missed baskets. "Great defense" the commentators claim."
  3. I'd love to see the fire marshal also do a headcount during those times.
  4. Yes. They did even better.
  5. #SiouxForever by a 14 year old...I'll have to do the math...Was he like 5 when the nickname was retired?
  6. College hockey struggles with trend toward recruiting younger and younger players Chaz Lucius, 14, and his 13-year-old brother Cruz committed to play hockey for the Gophers
  7. "We'll likely stop seeing these young recruits." Was a phrase just issued on this site a few days ago.
  8. BC hockey already did it from 2006-2016. (resulting in three National Championships for them.)
  9. Buff had a bunch of punches in before cags even knew he was in a fight as Buff grabbed him from behind. Cags did have him on the ground for a brief second. Not too bad considering the size difference and situation.
  10. Duluth is going to their 3rd straight. DU is going to number three in four years. It's not out of the realm of possibility for one to go 4 more times in the next 8 years.
  11. Is Scott Sandelon the next Jerry York?
  12. .....and the college students love the fish bowls.
  13. The betting line is Duluth over Mass in the Championship.
  14. No blue bloods made the tournament this year.......when you cherry pick the blue bloods.....leaving out the team tied with the second most titles.
  15. NCHC vs Hockey East in the Frozen Four.
  16. Duluth with three straight trips to the Frozen Four. Denver with three trips to the Frozen Four in the last four years.
  17. So if this goes to OT that'll be 3 straight OTs for Duluth?
  18. Booyah! Go Dogs.
  19. Twitter says those people are the coolest of the cool kids.
  20. This blue check mark hockey guy has a lot of good stuff on his twitter page about womens professional hockey. Worth a quick read for anyone interested.
  21. The Lamoureux twins push to make professional womens hockey better. Opportunity to merge the two professional womens hockey leagues in North America. Which the NWHL admits to trying to do this past January. NHL teams have partnered with NWHL teams already to help support their operations. Womens Professional Basketball followed a similar path. It started out with a few independent leagues that went defunct, and then the NBA came in and said they'll start the WNBA.
  22. Who would have ever thought (back when UND was thinking of transitioning to DI) the University of North Dakota would be in a Division I basketball conference in which a conference mate made it to the Sweet 16 in Women's Basketball! Amazing! Even more amazing is that it would be South Dakota State doing it! Nice run by the Jacks. I think a rising (conference) tide lifts all boats (as long as your name isn't "NDSU"). Same reason I cheer for NCHC schools. For comparison, (if my research is correct) no Big Sky womens basketball team has ever made it to the Sweet 16, especially not since the time the Dakotas started taking over and transforming the Summit League into a mid major power!
  23. I could see them getting to the championship game, especially if the D and goaltending keep playing like they did this weekend. I'd pick Duluth (if I were to jump the gun) to beat them though if they faced off.
  24. If AIC can beat SCSU so could DU.
