  1. Senden line with some good opportunities.
  2. More weak calls from these refs.
  3. Two mediocre teams battling it out.
  4. Aww yes the power kill as CC almost had a shorty.
  5. His shot selection tells you why.
  6. Lots of slappers from the blue line for the hawks.
  7. Game is streamed on onhockey tv for those interested.
  8. Will Thome have an off night or turn in another solid performance. He could be the games wild card.
  9. A walk-on freshman is the teams top center.
  10. Two OT wins vs CC at home. "Not your grandfather's CC." I have a hard time seeing anything other than a split here. UND likes to win on Fridays.
  11. I just watched one fixer get interviewed in front of congress on TV days before he goes off to jail. I watched another fixer at UND give the "chief of staff" (and a former Kennedy friend before UND) a massive raise before she moved to Texas to work from home. That was after he gave another close buddy of his, whom he also met before he started working at UND, $17,000 a month to a guy working 80 hrs a month in Boston for his excellent work "helping" UND. FIxers are shady people.
  12. DU and WMU are currently close for 4th place in the NCHC. Whom ever claims that spot is likely where UND will travel to for the first round of the NCHC playoffs. Not only is DU 4th in the NCHC, but also 4th in the nation. Playing DU instead of WMU gives UND a opportunity to pull off the upset (how ever rare that might be) and move up in the rankings.
  13. Obviously not the most common thing. Gophers had one a few years ago. BU a few years before that.
  14. Will we ever see a #1 NHL drafted player play for UND in our lifetime?
  15. Points per Game can be cool and all but can easily be skewed by players who haven't played many games. Like phenom, Jack Hughes, top NHL draft prospect...2nd in PPG in the ushl. (He's going to go higher than the highest drafted UND player Ever.) or Alex Turcotte, the highest PPG player in the USHL, a Wisconsin recruit and another future NHL stud! Is that why one of the highest rated UND recruits, Donovan, said "Nah. Sorry Berry. I'm going to play for Wisconsin and to go play with Alex Turcotte?"
  16. Just glancing at the scoring leaders on the USHL website. The top scorers rank and where they are committed to play college: 1. Miami U 2. Harvard 3. Minnesota <--- This is where Brock Boeser finished his "senior year" in the ushl. 4. Uncommitted 5. Denver 6. Michigan State 7. Connecticut 8. Michigan 9. Uncommitted 10. Connecticut 11. Umass-Lowell 12. Western Michigan 13. Uncommitted 14.Uncommitted 15. Cornell 16. Denver 17. North Dakota 18. St. Lawrence 19. BU
  17. Some are happy to beat good teams. Some want to be that good team.
  18. Just schedule more brand name cupcakes like Minnesota and Wisconsin or any big ten team for that matter. Its a Win win.
  19. Yeah havent been there in a awhile. I know sometimes the different charities switch up different locations around the city.
  20. Grand Forks and Bismarck were pretty much statistically even in the late 80s, early 90s.
  21. Alerus Center 285,000 profit in 2018. 400,000 loss in 2017. Two year average 115,000 loss (comes out to a dime per person per month in Grand Forks). But losses can be easily offset by the job, economic activity, and canad (and other hotels) property taxes. Alerus Center complex is one of the crown jewels of the Grand Forks region. The out of towners gambling at Playmakers (canad inn) probably contribute $100,000 a year to charity organizations. Things like the Blue Line club which helped semirecently opened the nice Icon Sports Center.
