  1. I really can't poke any holes in that article/argument. If your aren't winning you'd better have some other draw (like a shiny new or upgraded facility). Proof? What was UND Hockey's record the first year in the new REA? (Hint: < 0.500) I do wonder why the GF Herald is interested in getting football back on campus. That may not make the Alerus owners (city of GF) happy.
  2. Misters Gentry and Montgomery can explain the status of the old moniker: Gone like a freight train, gone like yesterday Gone like a soldier in the civil war, bang, bang Gone like a '59 Cadillac Like all the good things that ain't never coming back She's gone, gone, gone, gone, she's gone
  3. Let's see ... it's Super Bowl XLIX (that's 49 to you non-Romans out there). Odd number SB means the NFC will serve as home team. I have to think about this one before I make a "next three games" prediction.
  4. Please do, with one caveat: If it's your intent to do so, please spare us the histrionics of "they took our name". In the end, we chose to drop the name instead of suffering the consequences. (GFC, DL, and Wahpeton did the same: they dropped rather than suffer the continuing distraction.) We need to move on.
  5. This I can agree with. (I wasn't getting this vibe from your other posts.)
  6. You saw GFC Redskins gear while they had no name. Then, after they adopted the Knights name, the Redskins gear slowly faded away replaced with Knights gear. That is precisely the same situation.
  7. If hockey wasn't performing and selling 11,000 tickets per home game one would have to question the emphasis on hockey. But it is, and it's the fiscal engine right now. I think it was Coach Wooden that said, "You can't build something up by tearing something else down." How about we worry about building up and not 'blaming' other programs inside the house.
  8. NE, Seattle, GB win at home; Indy wins on the road. Nailed it ... a-a-a-a-again.
  9. You're going to see the old gear and hear the old word until it is replaced. You don't hear Satans, Wops, or Redskins much now at Devils Lake, Wahpeton, or GF Central anymore.
  10. Too bad this guy wasn't working that day. https://screen.yahoo.com/samurai-tailor-050000039.html
  11. Buy, sell, crank calls, ... all in one.
  12. If it's a horse I'd prefer a horse that doesn't look quite so effeminate and stoned. Change the eye to green. Done.
  13. The board owner is not available for a few more days. I'll make sure he sees this question when he is available. Signed, The Management
  14. Um ... really?
  15. Arthur Knights or Riverdale Knights?
  16. Before the days of Finley-Sharon-Hope-Page, or Page-Hope-Clifford-Galesburg, there were The Hope Hustlers. I think they bought team gear here. Their girls teams were powerhouse in the early 1980s.
  17. Maybe they'll put the old North Central Conference back together too.
  18. Rep. Scott Louser? Let me guess: it's pronounced ... LOSER.
  19. I trust Bubba (and Hakstol) when it comes to uniform designs. They seem to favor the simple, clean, traditional lines. Who I don't trust is Adidas and their "kinda hip, kinda now, kinda cool, kinda wow" designers; they have put out some affronts to uniformdom.
  20. You mean the blatant Ohio State knockoff helmet?
  21. Seems given the apparel deal recently confirmed, dagies gets his way no matter what. Current Adidas logo:
  22. Uh, Mr, " i graduated high school 15 years ago ", a point of order: If something "fell through" it didn't go your way. A UND recruit choosing to go else where "fell through". Zach Parise playing hockey at UND "didn't fall through" as he did play for UND. Your misuse has been confusing people in this thread. The whole point of being an "insider" is clear communications of limited, and accurate, information. Thank you, and please revisit the English language occassionally; graduation just means the start of life-long learning. Now, back to topic: Linemen. LINEMEN. LINEMEN!
  23. " ... as others were perched atop the hood of his Subaru wagon ... " Who were these 'others' and why were they atop Mr. Rice's wagon? Did they have permission to be there? Were they attempting to assault Mr. Rice? Did they do damage to his vehicle? Did these people have a parade permit and permission to close down a public thoroughfare?
  24. It'd better be about 2015 recruiting, or take it to PMs, lads. Signed, The Management
