And that's the sound of the pager going off ... "How things are right now is how they'll always be."

Dang right ... now let me get back to filling in my PowerBall and MegaMillions numbers.

Reality check time folks: If Bartles is a no-go ... it's 2 QBs and the "Squad 51" guy. That's what we should be busting a gut about. Start thinking-good-thinks about Bartles' health ... now!

Now does everyone see why I wanted a construction camera mounted at the top of the west side grandstand at Memorial to watch the construction of the indoor practice facility (and to watch practices)?

Inside of all of this speculation about "fall 2015" is a belief that Mollberg will be medically cleared for contact then.

Full credit should go to 'choyt3' who gave it to me (the video link that is, not a '%').

GOBC -- The mythical "good ol' boys club" claimed by "gfhockey". Only slightly less powerful than OPEC and ISIS and slightly more powerful than Ebola. Well, as far a %gobc ... this'll help ...

NDSU to move to FBS with an invite from the Sun Belch?
The Sicatoka replied to SiouxVolley's topic in NCAA News
I wondered the same thing. -
Exactly. If Jake Hanson isn't player you'd put on a game field at QB why is he listed at QB? When I see a "G" on a hockey roster I expect to see a guy in big pads come out and stop a puck, be it "Z-Mc", Cam, or "Scrabble*". If I see "QB" I expect a guy who'd come in to a game. *Hrynkiw == "Scrabble"; overheard at a hockey game, liked it.

If "He regularly makes mistakes" is the criteria, we need to look for an entire suite of quarterbacks.

NORTH DAKOTA vs. Air Force - US HALL OF FAME GAME
The Sicatoka replied to AZSIOUX's topic in Men's Hockey
This has all been fun, but I'm going to turn in my claim form and paperwork for what I'm owed based on the documented process and criteria. I think that's the issue here: the Hardship Waiver paperwork is it "apply" or "claim"? When you "apply" you're making a request, you're coming from a position of nothing or weakness and asking for something. When you "claim" you're demanding what's due you, coming from a position of strength and looking to validate the claim. (Yes, either can be denied.) -

Wow, all this over the word "apply". Where I live is a "shall issue" conceiled carry state. When I filled out the paperwork for mine, did I "apply" (ask for something I didn't have, as in apply for a job) or merely complete the paperwork for what I was already qualified for? Beyond that it's haggling over that word because the rest of the specs I mentioned are correct (<30%, none in second half of season). And yeah, the 2014-15 DI manual rearranged the section numbering, but not the criteria. The point remains in this case MarkMac would be granted the fifth year. If he wouldn't no one ever could be under the rules and process as written and defined. But most importantly, I'd rather have him recover quickly than have to mess around with process and committees. -

In NCAA (no)think you're probably right.

The red t-shirt is cool; but, I'm enjoying reading 14.2.4 of my NCAA Division I manual. That says the conferences administer the hardship waivers (14.2.4.2). They'll go by what the book says is my guess. More importantly, this conversation is too much of a downer. How about we talk about how MarkMac is going to heal wonderfully and be back on the ice in four weeks instead. -
Folks, the NCAA give priority to "off campus" sites. Nobody in the Midwest Region bid except Notre Dame and they bid using their "on campus" site -- the NCAA had no option. In the West, UND bid using REA as a site and UND bid using Scheel's as a site -- the NCAA took the "off campus" site, and, in the process I'd argue, left about 6000 tickets times three games on the table. For an organization of academic institutions, the NCAA ain't too smart.
