  1. Could we get a consistent, cross-sport, representation for UND Athletics? 1. All headgear (helmets, ball caps, softball visors) are < color here > at home and < color here > on the road. 2. Stanard home jersey color is < color here >, standard road jersey is < color here > for all sports unless otherwise mandated by the NCAA. 3. Alternate jersey color for all sports is < color here >.
  2. One more notion: Could we get a consistent, cross-sport, representation for UND Athletics? 1. 3. I'd look at Michigan State and Marshall for inspiration as to what works and doesn't. Oregon loses something by changing it up so often, and half the time they look like a hot mess.
  4. Ask me August 30.
  5. C'mon ... that's funny.
  6. Holland America ships tend to tender into a lot of their ports, meaning they use their life boats to shuttle people to and from the dock and ship stays further out in the harbor. Holland crews are used to sailing those vessels, like the one they used to pick up the pilot. This was probably less stressful to the Holland boat crew than a day tendering or a life boat drill (because they knew they weren't being graded by the captain ).
  7. Thought for the day, going from LT to RT then TE: 6'5" 295 6'4" 275 6'5" 240 6'6" 275 6'6" 270 6'4" 230 Last year? The 2001 National Champions? This year's recruits. Good grief, guys are coming in at that size ....
  8. I didn't say anything about either party or any political issue. I talked about politicians, demographics, prior election results, and how politicians behave.
  9. If there's any chance to rock the boat and cause any sort of controversy a politician will flick away the red cape and side step (as bull rushes past). ... Ole!
  10. #gobcInsider
  11. Scott, Scott, Scott, the Congressional delegation from ND at that time daren't do that. Why? We'll use the most recent senate election to explain: Heidi Heitkamp got elected because she had monster majorities in the Reservation counties. Heidi knows what the Democrats in office then knew: Don't do anything to upset that portion of the electorate. Staying quiet was the safest thing they could do with their end true goal in mind, namely, staying in office.
  12. If you weren't sure what a special teams coach's nightmares looked like ...
  13. That's too bad for Simmons. That UAB transfer had better be ready.
  14. I rewatched the end of SB XLIX on NFL Network last night. NE 21 (Butler) was spectacular during the last SEA possession: - pass breakup (against Kearse?) at about the 20 just a play or two before - being situation-aware enough to make the tackle after the "are you kidding me" catch at the 5 - The Pick About the only thing NE 21 didn't do is tackle BeastMode on the first and goal play from the 5. Yes, Brady won it, but there is a strong case to be made for someone other than "GLA". The final SEA drive:
  15. ... and at UNH.
  16. Hey the Super Bowl XLIX MVP got a Chevy truck to drive. Guess who's driving it .... .... what'd I say ... http://boston.cbslocal.com/2015/02/03/patriots-tom-brady-gives-super-bowl-mvp-truck-to-malcolm-butler/
  17. When was Fargo Zamboni guy released after his arrest? Seems there was a problem late Sunday afternoon again in south Fargo. http://www.valleynewslive.com/home/headlines/Reward-Being-Offered-for-Information-on-Super-Bowl-Outage-290547051.html I wonder if there unusual tire tracks and well surfaced ice leading up to the crash scene.
  18. The ultimate archery trick is at 5:30 of this Lars Andersen video.
  19. And if my aunt had ... never mind.
  20. He already jumped up on a table and ruined that already.
  21. Brady's fourth quarter didn't hurt his case, nor did his history, but the most important play of the game was when a rookie recognized and jumped a route.
  22. Not recruiting, but does mention a UND inbound transfer. http://m.trib.com/opinion/letters/henry-i-m-done-supporting-university-of-wyoming-football/article_9580ab2f-4549-5ef9-8d90-7c2132d1057b.html?mobile_touch=true
  23. A couple questions for the room: Do you have a vehicle with a tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS)? Has that ever gone off for you on the first really cold day of the fall? Why is that? Is it normally one tire or all four? The balls are looked at by the referees in a nice warm locker room before the game. They're then taken out into the cold. I'm willing to bet that if every outdoor game was scrutinized you'd find at least one "TPMS" ball.
