They don't put that in the guarantee, just the invoice.

Yes and no. If I could roll back the clock and "fix" things ... I-94 would be down the Highway 200 corridor. In that world UND would be in Mayville/Hillsboro (and those two would be Fargo/Grand Forks); NDSU would be in Washburn (and that would be Bismarck/Minot). The state would have those two universities and maybe a couple tech/trade schools. But, we live in the world we have.

Where's the public outrage over this? Ray Rice and Adrian Peterson hurt one person. Werth, going that fast on the DC beltway, could have killed dozens.

Reilly said it. Ouch.

And you should be happy about that. It'll keep the concrete from cracking (for a few more days ... maybe). Standard Concrete Guarantee: - It'll turn grey. - It'll crack.

Relook at the scale in that picture. Look at the person in the boom lift basket near the rafters. (Yeah, bad resolution; tough to see.) Now scale from there. I'd say from bottom to top on a rafter is over ten feet. And you don't dig (300,000 sq ft) down ten feet to back fill ten feet. (The surface will be below street level. )

I believe this train of thought long before "PSU to FBS".

The quarterfinals games and locations: No. 1 New Hampshire vs. No. 8 Chattanooga -- Cowell Stadium (Durham, NH) No. 4 Eastern Washington vs. No. 5 Illinois State -- Roos Field (Cheney, WA) No. 2 North Dakota State vs. No. 7 Coastal Carolina -- Fargodome (Fargo, ND) No. 6 Villanova vs. Sam Houston State -- Villanova Stadium (Villanova, PA)

Yup. This is the first weekend w/o FBS so the FCS playoffs go to ESPN.

When SDSU was down 20-17 but moving the ball late I said to the folks I was with that it was the perfect scenario: run Zenner, run the ball, score late. Then the pass interference happened and SDSU moved from the 27 to the 3 way too fast. When SDSU scored and left NDSU more than 3 minutes I knew it was a problem for SDSU. And I was right. Now? I see a clear path to Frisco for NDSU (as I said before here).

Very odd. Could PSU be looking at the UAB solution?

Brad E. Schlossman @SchlossmanGF Hakstol on the coaching staff's reaction to seeing the team at No. 1 in polls: "Balloons and streamers." Which I'm sure was followed with ...

What the deal with the NHL and mumps this year? Now maybe Suter, which would make five on the Wild. http://www.startribune.com/sports/blogs/284621841.html

Why does it seem like the Big Sky finished so early compared to the NCAA tournament.

Those games make the conferences a lot of money. That's your answer.

Dr. (and deputy mayor) Mahoney would seem to be that guy.

Those are just the wells. They don't show the pipelines. And yes, wells go down about five miles and then turn horizontal and go about two miles; hence, the name "horizontal drilling". Fracking happens in the horizontal stretch. Cool looking map but I guess I'm not sure what the NYT's point is.
