http://www.nacda.com/sports/cefma/mtt/williams_andrea00.html http://www.bigten.org/school-bio/big10-staff.html Just trying to get a read on who this new commissioner is. I guess my only concern is she graduated in 1997. That sounds a touch young to be commissioner of a DI conference.

Does the thoughts of Arizona State in the NCHC change anyone's opinion on this topic?

Et tu, Brute?

The NCHC will be an 8 team conference after it adds ASU ... and UND goes as an affiliate to the B1G. < diving for cover under table >

(Knowing how Cam loves to show his critics they are wrong ... ) Hey Cam! You got lucky last year. It was all the defense in front of you. It wasn't you. No Stech, no KT, no Ladue. You're toast. Nah-nah-nah!

I wonder how much hate mail WDAY will get for cutting into Grey's Anatomy with a Wentz update. I just heard a roar from a Grey's fan about it.

NDUS Budget Cuts (changed name to be system-wide)

You are the company you keep. Given the chance I'd like to hang outwith other universities with Medical and Law schools.

Indiana, like of the "we don't play FCS teams any more" Big Ten?

Yo, petey, shouldn't there be a "1a" to verify solid WiFi connectivity (or a good data plan) out there on the ledge to make sure 2 through 4 can happen?

NDUS Budget Cuts (changed name to be system-wide)

I'm not always the biggest Don Morton fan. (I questioned his placement on the ND SBoHE.) However, I think he got this one right: The Board hired the presidents; let the presidents do the job (as Schafer said). If the presidents aren't doing the job the SBoHE then has its recourse. -

NDUS Budget Cuts (changed name to be system-wide)

I wouldn't expect leeway (the number is the number and you have to hit the number), but I suspect the groundwork is/has been done at UND by Schafer's moves and when (not if according that Board member) the next State mandate budget cuts happen UND will be prepared to just manage the plan already put in place. I do like how Schafer did have goodwill built up by having a plan for Sign Language with LRCC. It's like Ed knows what State officials are going to say/think/ask before they do it. -
My apologies to KFAN for misspelling Dan Barreiro's "bobos" term as defined here in the KFAN glossary.

The ND SBoHE chimes in: http://www.grandforksherald.com/news/education/4020258-higher-ed-board-critiques-budget-cuts-talks-und-music-therapy-suspension *Interim UND President Ed Schafer said he is partnering with Lake Region State College to supplement the potential elimination of the American Sign Language program. -
What stuns me is all the Bison-bo-bos around here worried about a non-rival's potential late round pick at LB. I'd have thought they'd be on their board talking about their guy.

To be FBS you must average 90% of the FBS limit of 85. That means Idaho must average 76.5 or not count as an FBS team to opponents. That's 13.5 more than the FCS (63) max.
-
There's what I was forgetting about.
-
< ding! > Correct.

Around here we don't need Crayola's to recognize sarcasm.

Say Idaho decided to play in the BSC but not go down to 63 (stay at 85). We see they'll be ineligible for the FCS playoffs; however, would it be worth it (guarantees) if they still counted as an FBS (85 scholarship) school on P5/G5 schedules? Disclaimer: I'm not sure what the NCAA would/could do if Idaho didn't drop down to 63 other than post season ineligibility. Anyone know? Could the NCAA declare them "FCS" even with 85 scholarships? .... This might require popcorn.

It's all about the contract language. We don't know so we don't know.
