  1. You need "Trunk Monkey Internet Posting Forum Edition". Caption: "I'll get that bobo that just said something bad about my banana supplier!"
  2. So, 'ucci, can I call you 'ucci? I feel like we've got a good vibe ... Fine. Mr. Mariucci, So, is there any light to this "UND to BTHC" heat? I noticed you magically appeared when it came up.
  3. Minnesota and @Wisconsin on the schedule this year. If "UND to BTHC" comes about, I'd expect the news one of those weekends. Then again, most conferences have "let us know if you're leaving" cut-off dates in June/July.
  4. I hope so. I can't be in Grand Forks, ... and it is Good Friday*. *Contrary to popular belief in some quarters, I'm not completely unholy.
  5. I'll make it easy for the Lammy twins. Consider this an open letter to them. You don't have to raise a $60 million endowment to save WIH. You don't have to raise $2-3 million to play another season. You just have to cut $2-3 million from some other portion of UND to save WIH. So, have at it. What are you going to do? Nothing is not an option. The State Legislature isn't sending the money so you have to cut the budget. Nothing is not an option. So, are you ... Cutting the history department? Cutting the mathematics or physics departments? Offering retirement buyouts to cut head counts (like has been done already, including from admin)? How about whacking the department you got your degrees from? So, if it's so easy to question someone else's call, how about you make one.

  8. If I can't tell you the truth what can I tell you?
  9. It takes far, far less than that to make Blackheart the bad guy.
  10. So the "source" is third-hand anonymous posting on an internet forum. "Simone" is more credible.
  11. It's become real whether real or not. See: Joseph Goebbels.
  12. It's about $80,000.00 cost per WIH player. That's impact.
  13. Uh. So what. Henry Ford started making Model Ts about then too. He quit when they were no longer fiscally viable. So "age" makes no matter. MIH survives on its current fiscal viability. Now tell me about the fiscal viability of WIH.
  14. This is so good it needed to be repeated.
  15. You know my opinion of online petitions: nearly as effective as hashtag campaigns. Talk (typing) is cheap; it takes money to buy good whiskey (or re-institute a WIH program). So, in all sincerity, forget the online petitions and hashtag campaigns and ...
  16. I'd say Pres. Kennedy has a pretty good grasp on when to collaborate, when to compete, and when to succeed. And I'm pretty sure he was aware of the risks and rewards posed by "shapeholders" like former players, ala the twins. He made a tough call, like he has the experience for and he's paid to do.
  17. Poor Mark Kennedy. No shiny bead on a rope around his neck. No world championships. No global perspective. Just ... 18. Dude! You're back! Missed you man!
  19. That's why I believe it works well on a FB helmet or a shoulder or a polo or as a patch, but not as a big logo on the back of a booster jacket or on the front of a jersey.
  20. More about UNM dropping M/W Skiing: http://golobos.com/news/2017/4/13/f-a-q-regarding-the-discontinuation-of-skiing.aspx And they had actually won a championship in the sport! Where's the uproar that one of 30 (yes, 30) collegiate programs has folded and for all the lost opportunities for little kids who want to ski. Change NM to ND ...
  21. No, @Wilbur, I can see it replacing the interlock on the shoulder. That's about it.
  22. I'd be in favor of hockey in a hockey facility for the NCHC championship weekend. It would get the team a couple games in the facility where they'll be winning two games three weeks later.
  23. It's decent up to FB helmet decal size, meaning it works on the BB shorts, or hockey shoulder patch, or on a cap or jacket or polo shirt. It just doesn't work as well getting above that size. I had a jacket with a 12" Brien logo on the back. I don't see this logo working there, nor on the front of a hockey jersey.
