  1. He's just recycling a past story/post. He's green. PS - gfhockey, I thought you were the insider, the card-carrying member of the %gobc and such.
  2. Depending on Illinois universities for anything right now seems foolhardy at best for any league riding the margins of membership. The Summit sponsoring football would solve many of their "membership to maintain the MBB autobid" issues. Remember: the Summit has been down this road once before (getting a waiver while Omaha became a full DI and baseball member).
  3. "Godfather" Abe or "Barney Miller" Abe?
  4. < in my very best-est arena PA guy voice > And now, here to present the InHeavenThereIsNoBeer Women's WCHA Tournament Championship trophy is WWCHA commissioner Katie Million!
  5. What? No status pictures of the removal of the buildings? < harumph >
  6. Be nice to the fuzzy bears. They're going back to HS this year.
  7. I'm looking forward to Mr. Schlossman's take on this. < glances at watch >
  8. Stem cells? STEM CELLS!?!?! I want bionics!
  9. He didn't. He called them a "regional rival". I'd call abutting states "regional".

  11. It's a tendon. It attaches the calf muscles to the heel. It's a major component in walking and what allows you to "point your toes". You tear it the way you tear any tendon - counter force to the muscle action. Bryant and Beckham are probably the most famous pro athletes to tear it.
  12. Not according the UNDSports.com roster I cut/pasted that from.

  14. The Duluth NT's take on the Donovan commitment. http://www.duluthnewstribune.com/sports/4300243-duluth-easts-donovan-verbally-commits-north-dakota
  15. I've seen no national media "North Dakota is EEEEvil because their logo is RAAAAcist" hack-pieces in quite a while. That's not a bad thing.
  16. Pray it's not an Achilles.
  17. DC.
  18. Mentioning "new jerseys" ... no leaked photos yet?
  19. I'm going to make some bold, broad eating habits statements about nearly everyone (average person or athlete): - don't consume enough protein - don't drink enough plain old water - too many carbs relative to protein intake - should probably be taking a daily multivitamin (because the base diet isn't providing a broad enough spectrum of nutrients) - far more afraid of fat content than they should be* *too many foods "reduce fat" by adding in carbs and sugars --> not a good trade
  20. It would be mind-boggling to win the conference's four premiere spectator sport titles and not win the President's Cup.
  21. I remember an article a while back where Mac Schneider (2000 team center) said he'd mow down 10,000 calories to maintain his weight during the season. That's roughly 11 ... dozen ... eggs.
  22. Best. Mugshot. Ever. http://www.grandforksherald.com/news/4298521-man-arrested-breaking-grand-forks-apartment
  23. < ding! > Score one for SV. http://blogs.und.edu/uletter/2017/02/und-announces-coulee-to-columbia-committee/
  24. The buildings scheduled for demolition this summer (per Herald article) are: 314 Cambridge Strinden Center 2912 University Avenue 317 Cambridge Era Bell Thompson Center International Center Women's Center Chandler Hall, which was built in pieces and contains the oldest structure on the UND campus, is the last building scheduled for demolition and is expected to be taken down next summer. I see those structures and between age, type, occupancy, and the 1997 flood, the buildings can not be in a good way. Clean them out.
