Based on last year's performance I'd call it surprising even for trade value. Something wasn't right with Galchenyuk last season. His performance slid and that's not right for a guy his age. Who do I think will ultimately win this deal. The team that got Galchenyuk.

The Engelstad Family Foundation has not received money from any of the three arena entities. The Engelstad Family Foundation has donated to the arena (via one of the entities). Go and look for yourself. It's all in Form 990.

How many more times must I link to Form 990 for the three arena entities in this thread? Search: Form 990 in this thread. Enjoy. All the data is public because of their charitable status (and as such they must file Form 990). PS - As a bonus I even found the 990 for the Engelstad FAMILY Foundation (which is a separate entity from the arena).

There are increasing numbers of lax players in that same region. Not sayin', jus' sayin'. But that said, are we cleared to cut sports if participant numbers are on the downward slide?

The OCR says UND did it all correctly with regard to Federal law. Should this suit actually win (somehow), it would bring every OCR finding into question. The courts could be backed up for years, decades.

Imagine Karlsson and Tavares both landing in Vegas.

The US Office of Civil Rights said UND is meeting Title IX. Getting a ruling contrary would really throw every OCR ruling for a loop. Call me skeptical.
