So y'all are volunteering a guy to: play a 10AM (local) game, get on a flight (if he can get a flight), fly 1/3 of the way around the world, and play a game at 7PM (local) the next day*. I wouldn't sign off on that plan. *His body clock is still in the old time zone. So 7PM local would be after midnight to him.

The composite tournament schedule: https://www.iihf.com/pdf/422/ihm422000_08_1_0 The composite schedule says CAN/USA game time is "19:00 GMT + 1". That is 12:00 noon Central time US on December 26. Basically it looks like preliminary round games are either 8:00 AM or noon (Central) start times.
