  1. Six games left as of now: Today: FIN/SVK -- FIN need the regulation win to set up top spot battle with CAN tomorrow SUI/GER -- regulation win by SUI and they go to quarters; less and GER goes RUS/SWE -- that 54(?) game SWE streak on the line as is top in Group B Tomorrow: CZE/AUT -- regulation win by AUT and they go to quarters; less and CZE goes CAN/FIN -- too soon to know but probably top of Group A to winner SWE/USA -- too soon to know the scenarios, except if SWE beats RUS they'll be playing for the top of Group B
  2. "The position is so important the game should be renamed 'Goalie'." -- Dean Blais "I have so much forehead it's a five-head." -- Dean Blais ^^^ My favorite Blaiserisms ^^^ !!!
  3. Looking at that GFC/FSHS final ... has anyone checked on gfhockey today?

  5. USA guaranteed to the quarterfinal round with today’s win but the goal has to be top two to avoid CAN or FIN in the quarters.
  6. Colour? BEAUTY, eh! Take a six of Moosehead out of the cooler for yourself, eh, ya hoser!
  7. But Starman is going to a US audience that if they're watching knows about college hockey (more than a Canadian audience). The TSN guys are playing to their audience --> call a game between two also-rans in Canadian eyes. If Starman was on TSN his college hockey schtick would be good advertising for college hockey.
  8. Gettting a tad out of hand. USA hits the extra point: 7-0.
  9. Zegras 2 Brink 2 CZE 0
  10. The CZE goalie has misplayed the puck a couple times that the US couldn't cash.
  11. I just realized this is the Canadian (TSN) feed and not the US (NHLN) feed. BIG THANK YOU because of the better announcers (sorry Starman, but TSN's worst is better).
  12. I have 20 ... do I hear 25, 25, 25, anyone, 25.
  13. Some of the US guys have a really nasty habit of blindly throwing the puck into a space.
  14. 3-0 Brink ( <bleeping> Pioneer) again.
  15. If there's a good part of this, you've found it.
  16. No Kleven? Starting Knight after Wolf pitches a goose egg? Fire Leaman. (Only things right on that staff are "Beez" and "Dr. Phil". )
  17. Doubt the NCHC allows for that at this point. Thank goodness the WJC will be on NHLN this weekend ...
  18. Now Captain Serious is out. https://nhl.nbcsports.com/2020/12/29/jonathan-toews-to-miss-blackhawks-training-camp-season-start-report/
  19. Random factoid (per ND DOH website): Three North Dakotans under age 30 have died of/with COVID. Let them play, but captains run the bench. (Sorry Bubs; you're old. ) PS - Positive tests don't play or dress. If you're short-benched you have no one to blame but the idiot in the mirror.
  20. Booger flicks it in the face of the youngsters in the NFL.
  21. Let's be fair. That came off the worst site on the internet --> Ticket<bleep>. https://www.ticketmaster.com/Betty-Engelstad-Sioux-Center-tickets-Grand-Forks/venue/50082?DB_OEM_ID=13500&camefrom=CFC_UND_fightingsioux.comMWBB In this craptacular year I don't blame schedule update mistakes on anyone. It seems to change by the rapid test (which is a bit over a minute).
  22. The pod should've been the "cross-over" as tnt says. UND should've played 8 games, 2 per with UMD, SCSU, WMU, and Miami. UMD should've played 8 games, 2 per with UND, DU, UNO, and CC. I think that would've been better two ways -- schedule, and teams started to look fatigued during that 4 games in 7 days week they each had. UND's second half should've been 12 games: 2 home, 2 road with each of DU, CC, and UNO. Yes, that's only 20 total games. If you want 24 you do two "pairs weekends" --> DU hosts UNO then UND (Fri/Sat) and CC hosts UND then UNO (Fri/Sat). The following weekend UNO hosts CC Fri/DU Sat and UND hosts DU Fri/CC Sat. <-- There's 24 games. You could do something similar but cross over with the east four even. Why'd nobody call me?
