Frisch had better be playing significant minutes. Why? As good as Kleven, Sanderson, et al, may be, there's no guarantee they'll make a smooth transition to the next level. Present D corp: 2 Seniors 3 Juniors 2 Sophs (first rounder JBD and second rounder Tychonick) 1 Freshman I'd say there's a 70-80% chance in two seasons it'll be Tycho, Frisch, and a bunch of pups. I'd say there's a 20-30% chance in two seasons Frisch will be the "old man" of the group, with a bunch of pups.

From the Schmidt thread: Now fill in the following: Tom Dosch is of the _______________ years era. (Hint: He's part of a mentioned consortium.)

The original reference is to Sherlock Holmes novels. He addresses his nemesis, Moriarty, with an "always with the negative waves" line. I believe it's used in one of the Robert Downey Jr as "Holmes" movies.

2013: Mussman's last campaign (sixth season), he had two first year coordinators: OC Luke Schleussner, DC Josh Kotelnicki. 2020: Bubba (seventh season) has second year OC Danny Freund and first year DC Brett Holinka.

If it's still a base 3-4 we need a Tank Harris cloning machine.

No external opening means no application circus and the easy path for Bubba, Athletics, and UND HR. It's far easier to post and hire for positions that are less "high profile".

Holinka's bio: https://fightinghawks.com/sports/football/roster/coaches/brett-holinka/1883 He has experience as a coordinator.

OU fans shudder when they see that 4/13 game you have.

It's mis-seeded. 1 should play the 8/9 winner. 2 should play the 7/10 winner. 3 should play the 6/11 winner. 4 should play the 5/12 winner.

" ... stay in your lane." #loserthink "Loserthink is about unproductive ways of thinking." You're in the mental trap of "sunk capital": We've spent it so even if it's not working we have to keep throwing good money after bad. Instead, why not risk a change to something that might work instead of staying with something we know isn't working.

Alabama-Huntsville @ UND -- Saturday Gameday

The better question is: Does Steve-O still step on Tim's calls? ... Oh, ... wait, ... "his legs", .... nevermind. -
Because what is being done now is not working when you're giving up 28.5 and nearly 400 per. Stay in your lane (aka stay with what you know) is #loserthink (courtesy Scott Adams). When is it time to add to the knowledge and skill stack? Now.

It's both: - do you have the scheme for the players - do you have the players for the scheme To me the question is: What's the right scheme to play in the MVFC and can we get the players for that.

Still deciding what's better: - the first career goal by Ethan Frisch - his on-ice reaction - reading his lips on the bench -
I'm guessing all the SiouxSports.com "members" of this "band" qualify ( @Oxbow6, @Blackheart, @Sioux-cia @MafiaMan ). Then again, I believe I qualify as well ... @PCMand @Rick? Heck yeah. They were around when pigskin was invented. Not the game. Pigs, with skins.

I see "generational shifts" coming in UND coaching in say the next 5 or so years. In football, the "Thomas/Lennon/Schweigert" consortium (1980/1990s based) will transition to something more 2000/2010s (DF/BH/JS?). I see the same for hockey, moving from 1980s Gino/Blais/Hak/Bubs to more 2000s (KG?)
