Another year, another group of all-conference linemen at NDSU (3 OL, 1 DL). Folks, NDSU has a system. Part of their system produces top-caliber lineman. You can begrudge them or you can learn from them.

I'd rather hear him talking about how his system is directionally correct in getting the team to the playoffs but as the loss indicates his system needs to be adjusted because he knows there's more out there. NDSU doesn't win because of team goals. NDSU wins because they've found a system that works.

8 Things from today's season ending presser by Tom Miller. Item 1: No kidding. Item 8: Where Schmidt says we need to "look the part" is a glimmer of hope to me. It's an acknowledgement that when lined up against top tier FCS teams, man-for-man we don't always look the part (meaning look like a contending FCS team). That said, what systems are we going to put in place to fix it and keep it fixed.

Process? What process? Bubba had a goal of 7 wins; he said as much. A goal is not a process or a system.
