  1. Brad's story has an (intentional?) tell. In his youngest recruits by age list he includes, not as potential, but as "fact": Dylan James (19th youngest under Hak/Berry), Jackson Blake (25th), Owen McLaughlin (35th), and Ben Strinden (54th). Thus, we know our incoming freshman forwards. I'll say it again: The article is a good read.
  2. It's a good read. If Spicer had followed the ask and come in 2023, he'd still be one of the younger forwards at college entry this century.
  3. I'm not sure a FOIA would be allowed under FERPA. You couldn't have "readily identifiable" information (to know what went where, who got what). You'd probably get a list of fractional values that add up to 18.
  4. He did play for East Grand Fork High ... < shrug > ... maybe they forgot the "East".
  5. Meh. Too easy. If you play for USNTDP you must be college ready. Just ask Grant Mism..., um, Gavin Hai..., er, Judd Caul... Nevermind.
  6. A list that short this soon after a decommit? Shouldn't he still be fielding calls?
  7. Hastings is 56; Knott is 43. Brad Berry is 57; Karl Goehring is 43, and it's clear to me KG is the heir apparent.
  8. He got G and D figured out, went to bed, and woke the next day not knowing how to manage a roster. Somebody get him to a Holiday Inn Express!
  9. The retirement frees him up to watch his boys play football.
  10. Is Todd Knott looking to move on from Mankato? He has to be in demand. You had to know Augie was going to find someone who knows Minnesota and the hockey region.
  11. Or are we on a crash course for something like the WCHA had? That ended as the genesis of the NCHC.
  12. He started as Summit commissioner on April 11. They guy hasn't found the head in his new offices yet, much less unpacked his day planner.
  13. Until he steps on the ‘ucci ice, he is an unknown at the collegiate level as well.

  15. Given the history pointed out here, asking Spicer to go to the USHL for a season was prudent for his development. Dare I say Spicer’s decision to my eyes is imprudent.
  16. If you had "less than seven games to first 2022 injury" on Buxton, you can cash your betting stubs now.
  17. From QU Bobcat spots to NHL "zebra" stripes. https://scoutingtherefs.com/2022/04/33780/nhl-debut-for-referee-jordan-samuels-thomas-in-chicago/ https://www.hockeydb.com/ihdb/stats/pdisplay.php?pid=107535 I'm surprise more former UND guys haven't landed on this path.
  18. The lad is from Red Deer, AB, ... so are the Bast (Gabe, Luke) boys. https://www.eliteprospects.com/player/685905/keith-mcinnis Waterloo: General Manager Bryn Chyzyk Head Coach Matt Smaby
  19. Buxton, Carson Wentz, Jake Sanderson, see their name and you're surprised when it's NOT a new injury report.
  20. Another portal tracker (source unknown): https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1_h_MN4DvI86jNnPQ56RS3xpQyS5Rj4WGwiS__v2nK9A/edit#gid=0
  21. We'll have to Nash all that out while we're Stills ... Young.
  22. In today's world you left out Kathy Lee Crosby, and That's Incredible. <-- I'll smoke out the old timers with those references.
