The Kid? (Ken Griffey, Jr)

Um, so, when Grant was still at CC, were they short pistons for that Cruikshank? (Ouch. I think I pulled a hamstring stretching for that one.)
-
Not so much wondering what they've done, but wondering if they're doing what they should be: Lowering the snow loads on those roofs.
-
Because Minot.
-
From the NSF Sport website: Take something not NSF Sport certified and it was contaminated. I'm shocked.
-
That's why NSF Sport testing exists. That's a higher standard than the basic supplements industry. Take something not on their cleared list and "caveat emptor". As I said, he decided to take a non-NSF-approved supplement, by his own admission, knowing better, for whatever reason.

He decided to take a non-NSF-approved supplement, by his own admission, knowing better, for whatever reason. He's paying the price for it.

Play it safe: Wait until August.

2022-23 University of North Dakota Hockey Season
The Sicatoka replied to Frozen4sioux's topic in Men's Hockey
Since season's end @UNDmhockey has tweeted out "they're coming" or "they're staying" tweets about: G: DeRidder F: Gaber, Senden, Hain, Caulfield, Albrecht, Ness, D: Frisch, Kleven, Jandric, Ferner, Moore, Farmer They have not about ... G: Hellsten, Feeney, K Johnson F: Jamernik, Budy, Monty, Schmaltz, Costantini, Portz, Kunz D: Bast, Johnson The 2021-22 freshmen being in the "not" list does not surprise me. But nothing about Hellsten and LouieJam? Not sayin', just sayin'. And yeah, Hellsten is a 2021-22 freshman. And Budy in the "not" list ... no comment. -
Anecdotal, yes, but the last couple blizzards (<-- it hurt to type that) were somewhat "late", meaning 12-24 hours behind the three-days out schedule, and seemed to tack just west of the predicted-36-hours-before track line.

I'll just leave this bag-o-happiness right here ...

Stop by. We'll talk it out over drinks.

You could've stopped there. And he and Too Tall are two halves of a pair of pliers. <-- Tool, get it.
-
Twitter's @WeatherBELL does a solid job, but focuses more on where their paying subscribers are at. (They are a private forecasting service used by traders and insurance companies.)
-
Hasn't the Euro done the best job on the two prior storms?
-
Looks like Jonny Tychonick is using the Covid year at Omaha.
-
Congrats to Bismarck for setting an all-time April snowfall record with 12 days yet remaining!
-
I thought the inbound storm (Apr 22-25 arrival) was going to be more of a NWS Bismarck problem than an NWS Grand Forks problem. < facepalm >

2022-23 University of North Dakota Hockey Season
The Sicatoka replied to Frozen4sioux's topic in Men's Hockey
Allow me to show you all how a recruit's hearing works: "If you continue to progress as you need to, on and off ice, your play, training and your school, you'll be here in two years." -
Somebody's got their story mixed up. https://www.collegehockeynews.com/news/2022/04/18_McKay-Suspended-6-Months-.php https://www.sportsnet.ca/hockey/article/hobey-baker-winner-dryden-mckay-discusses-suspension-for-banned-substance/ So which is it?
-
Dryden McKay was so afraid of Covid, and admitting he knew to be careful of what he as an athlete consumes, he decided to take a non-NSF-approved, "Facebook Pharmacy" recommended, Quercetin supplement. Makes sense. Or not.
-
Is alcohol a banned substance by USADA/WADA/NCAA? Unfortunately, alcohol is just a dumb substance to ingest.
-
Why is he taking non-NSF-approved stuff? To what end? He admits he knew better but yet ... And I'm wondering why the six months didn't start in Jan/Feb with the positive test. (Not Dryden's control; this skepticism is aimed at USOC/USADA/NCAA.)
