  1. How the < bleep > has Parise played that many NHL games?
  2. It's glisten! He's GLISTENING!
  3. I'd say our problem is that we haven't transitioned from a 6/6 forward makeup to a 9/3. We still have two grind lines. The 7-8-9 guys don't have to be "blue chippaz" but they have to play more speed-skill and less grind. (See: DU and WMU)
  4. Yo "G", ... what's your guess on a 15th F? Pipeline, surprise late recruit, or (portal)?
  5. I struggled there too. Albrecht would be brought back if Croal isn't ready to step in is my thought. I show Caulfield and Gabor but I'm not confident. Those slots could easily turn (portal) because I don't see other pipeline forwards ready beyond those listed. The D would scare me much more with (portal) in place of Frisch. (Disclaimer: Yes, I carry water for Ethan. He's a good kid.)
  6. Call me in 2030. We'll start the conversation then.
  7. I wanted to win the billion-dollar MegaMillions last month. Sing it Mick!
  8. No, because ... "because Flyers" >>> "because Hak"
  9. Would I have wanted one more year of Jake Sanderson? Duh. Did Jake make the right move? Playing on PP2 and top 4 in OTT signals 'yes'. Did Tyson Jost make the right move? Notsomuch. Everything is always so clear when you look in the 20/20 hindsight mirror.
  10. My guess at a 2023-24 roster: Goal: (portal), (recruit/portal), Hellsten, Johnson Defense: Frisch, Moore, Bast, Komzak, Benoit, Wiebe, Livanavage, Strathmann Forward: Caulfield, Albrecht, Gaber, Ness, Jamernik, Schmaltz, Costantini, Portz, Kunz, Strinden, McLaughlin, Blake, James, Emerson, Perron That's a safe, predictable Berry roster, but I'm not sure that's what we need in 2023-24.
  11. So that's why you find recent changes abrupt?
  12. He's glistening.
  13. One of DeAnna's minions has my number and it's going 50/50 UND/church.
  14. No potential conflict of interest there ...
  15. Tell me if you heard this one: B-R misses on a breakaway, Minot comes back and scores. 5-2 Minot
  16. Stagnant? The two highest fundraising years in UND Alumni history are 2021 and 2022. https://undalumni.org/file/alumni-documents/financial/2022/UND-Annual-Report-FY22.pdf
  17. And now B/R takes a deuce -- PP Minot -- and it's 4-2. Getzlof just missed on a short chance seconds before. Does Minot really play "Chelsea Dagger"?
  18. Is the Matt Morelli doing color related to the "Morelli" on the ice for Minot?
  19. Less than a minute in and we have a game ... B-R scores. 3-2 Minot Getzlof from Heisler ... some good north central ND names there ...
  20. I don't need young, just modern game thinking. Jerry York's last ten teams at BC played a faster game than Brad Berry's. Jerry could be Brad's dad.
  21. I wonder what odds I'd get in Vegas on "Kraken win Cup year after Hak is gone" ...
  22. https://psp.network/live (scroll down to today's date)
  23. Honestly, what fraction of the funding of a multi-phase, multi-million dollar facilities plan is garnered though a website "click here to donate"? Fundraising is people/contacts/relationships business. That's why most of it is unheard until announced (see: UStT). Now let's turn this sideways: I was planning to donate to finish Phase II and endow all the MIH and FB scholarships after I won the billion-dollar MegaMillions* last month, but woe, without a website I wouldn't know how or where? *If I had won I'd have had to block DeAnna Carlson-Zink's number.
  24. It's more common that we realize. Last year 3/4 of the hosts didn't: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2022_NCAA_Division_I_men's_ice_hockey_tournament
  25. Let's be fair. I had UND as a "coin flip" (UND or Cornell) for the title in 2020 before the shutdown. That group was robbed (and then again in 2021 in a MichiganCovid/50T fiasco).
