  1. There is a difference between a B1G (and Ivy) grad after college. Look at the banking/equity careers. For comparison, Mike Prpich is farming and raising a family in SK. https://twitter.com/Pirps19
  2. And the venerable, 168 year old, Freddy Couples may make the cut. (-1 overall through 2 today).
  3. At first, but as a fan base we've become dependent on that generosity. The fan base needs to realize that safety blanket will be gone one day and get back to self-sufficiency.
  4. So you tried reverse psychology and you're afraid you'll get beat by double-reverse psychology. I'm dizzy.
  5. Now we're doomed.
  6. My Ls so far: Denver, Harvard in opening round; BU in semis. I have Q on Saturday.
  7. Game ended at 10 Central last night. NCAA paperwork center doesn't open until 8 Central this morning.
  8. BU v UMn? Mr. Google, what were Boston terriers bred for? Sounds perfect for the job. https://www.bostonterriersociety.com/boston-terriers-bred-for/

  11. I'm looking at two UND Bachelor of Science degrees from (then School now) College of Engineering and Mines on my wall. Both done in same five year time window (along with cooperative education rotations). <- Yes, that was an unapologetic self-pat on back. You expected nothing less.
  12. Check out his last year in Melfort: https://www.eliteprospects.com/player/335673/carson-albrecht We forget that.
  13. I'm hoping for more of an Archibald moment. People forget Archie was a goal machine his final season. (41 GP, 37 goals, ... 197 PIM )
  14. So he knocked out two Bachelor's degrees in four years and is starting a Master's. <- Not a bad role model.
  15. Aren't those two separate Bachelor's programs at UND? Did they combine to a single degree or did he knock out two degrees in four years?
  16. He's crazy strong and he's smart and he knows his role. He's a guy who can hit and I wouldn't want to be hit by. <-- That and yet a 0 penalty for 0 PIM line. And in complete reality, he's used just two (of four) playing year and three (of five) eligible years. He could play 2023-24 and 2024-25! 2019-20: did not participate (1 EY, 0 PY) 2020-21: does not count at all for anyone 2021-22: played (2 EY, 1 PY) 2022-23: played (3 EY, 2 PY) 2023-24: 4 EY, 3 PY 2024-25: 5 EY, 4 PY
  17. Then I'm really glad I didn't say Gene Autry's version of "Back in the Saddle Portal Again".
  18. Can we get Steven Tyler and Aerosmith re-record "Back in the Saddle" as "Back in the Portal"?
  19. So written exam and on-range testing and it's issued?
  20. He'd be a one-year guy, but why not go after Ryan Siedem of Harvard. He spent a season with the Fargo Force.
  21. < checks watch > No Albrecht news? No news on a Caulfield replacement? And don't we still need two defensemen? Are we 100% that Hedquist is coming in as well as Persson? < checks watch >
  22. Don't you use Teams to build teams? OK. Weak attempt. Moving snow has me off my game.
  23. Don't forget that 7 and 9 make 16. Period. DOT.
  24. < joke about had to be, it's Mankato, here >
  25. Not sure who "TK" was but Lee was a brainy-smart player.
