Jeff Kolpack on WDAY-AM on Saturday morning stated that SIU voted for USD into the MVFC only after they got assurances that they'd only have to make one conference trip to a Dakota school (NDSU, SDSU, USD) per season. Knowing that, why would they schedule UND?

And don't schedule home games on hunting season opening weekends. Folks, when the team wins, and looks dominant, people show up. There's the other key.

The core issue is with the NCAA.

The only time I smiled yesterday was when Sweeney reminded me he's just a sophomore.

Folks, today we're sending teams from NJIT to Cal Poly! I heard Faison on with Dan Hammer. He said the BSC is a wash at worst. Having known travel destinations (conference) makes scheduling and dealing for rates far easier. If Faison says the BSC travel cost is no worse than today I believe him. -

Kolpack wears a green and yellow pleated skirt with matching pom-poms. What else would you expect him to come up with? -

There you go again thinking rationally and logically and asking questions that reporters and media should be asking. We'll have none of that non-sense around here young man. -

Patience. Patience. -
I like this concept. - Play your four rivals for 2H and 2A games per year. - You see your rivals twice home and twice road in four years as it should be. - Play the other eight on a rotating basis where over four years you see each of the eight once at home and once on the road. That concept should make the west coast schools happy as they'd only be going to GF once every four years (assuming UND wouldn't have a west coast rival). From a travel POV, yes, the most cost effective rivals (for them) for UND would be UNC, ISU, UM, and MSU.

Yup, and yup. Don't forget DU and Omaha. Those four (NDU, DU, UNO, UND) as a core would have just about the same power ranking as a BTCH in the average year. (PS - That BTCH is intentional, call it the Big Ten Conference for Hockey or UND's BTCH for short. ) Now you're just suckin' up to me. Never truer words posted. -

Congratulations to Dr. Kelley for getting that one right.

Seems to me that a three time zone conference could be of benefit in one way. The BSC can offer "full day" programming to a network. Football: You could have BigSky football triple headers. Start a game at 1 pm in the Central time zone, then start a game at 3:30 pm Mountain (4:30 pm Central), and then start a game at 6:00 pm Pacific (8:00 pm Central). Basketball: You could probably do basketball all Saturday long ... start running games at noon Central and just keep moving west.

Some are happy at achieving the summit. Others reach for the Sky.

Walker was an NDSU recruit right out of HS. You're thinking Tony Stauss (sp).

And I will take it for exactly its full stated value.

It's now a Minnesota HS League sanctioned sport. And UND and NDSU were playing softball and baseball long before the NDHSAA sanctioned the sports. (But we've been over this. You're just being ... well, ... you.)

As long as Eids is a full-time student and has remaining years of eligibility he can play. We've had football guys working on MBAs.

First we lose a senior MLB (one of the few seniors we have) Paul German. Now we lose senior QB Jake Landry. The rest of this campaign is now for getting experience into next year's starters. We're running Fr, RFr, and So receivers. Bring in one of the young QBs and let them all mature together.

No, but you're doing a great job of doing it to yourself.
