dakotadan Posted December 9, 2007 Posted December 9, 2007 The guys sure didn't come out in the second period with the energy I had hoped they would. 3-1 Quote
Siouxdonyms Posted December 9, 2007 Posted December 9, 2007 Gophers score, Chorney looked terrible there. Quote
passit_offthegoalie Posted December 9, 2007 Posted December 9, 2007 chorney thought zajac was gonna get the puck, i thought. zajac made a move like he was gonna, but he didnt. Quote
redwing77 Posted December 9, 2007 Posted December 9, 2007 Now what we've got to do is simply: PLAY F-ING HOCKEY! SHOOT the puck, simplify our game plan, and practice fundamental hockey (that means pass the puck to our own guy). Quote
OETKB Posted December 9, 2007 Posted December 9, 2007 Gophers are skating around UND big time. Does UND have a good scoring chance yet this period? Quote
redwing77 Posted December 9, 2007 Posted December 9, 2007 I'm wondering when they'll start completing passes. The Sioux look pathetic. It's almost like they said "Well, we won last night. That's good enough for us." Quote

That's good enough for us." I'm getting tired of them trying to make a half-ice pass and it not even coming close. Either gets picked off or completely misses and goes for icing. Quote
UMDDogz Posted December 9, 2007 Posted December 9, 2007 Not going well at the DECC either. After a big save by the UAA goaltender, the Seawolves tie it. 1-1 about halfway through the second. Quote
AussieSiouxFan Posted December 9, 2007 Posted December 9, 2007 looks like the sioux have a little more ergency now that they are down 2 but it shouldnt take a 2 goal deficite to get them motivated Quote
redwing77 Posted December 9, 2007 Posted December 9, 2007 I disagree. They still look terrible. Please tell me I'm wrong. Regardless of time, I want to be wrong when I say, "The Sioux are playing not to win." Seriously sloppy. Quote
passit_offthegoalie Posted December 9, 2007 Posted December 9, 2007 chill out people. its hard to play from behind. all the gophers have to do is disrupt from here on out, unless the sioux score a couple goals. thers still half the game left. Quote
wsdSIOUXfalls Posted December 9, 2007 Posted December 9, 2007 Woog announced fans should vote on the best "crest" on jerseys - & gave a phone # to send text message to. So far Sioux Jerseys have over 70% of votes. Anyone get that phone #? Woog is now commenting on Hak's pro-Sioux logo comments. Quote
Siouxdonyms Posted December 9, 2007 Posted December 9, 2007 FSN question, "What school has the best crest?" North Dakota, St. Cloud, or Minnesota. What's exciting about an "M" or St. Cloud's crest? The attention to detail in the Sioux crest make it 2nd to none. Duluth and Mankato have better crests than the Minnesota or St. Cloud. Quote

Regardless of time, I want to be wrong when I say, "The Sioux are playing not to win." Seriously sloppy. I agree, as of now. Hopefully, they can turn it around though, which the Sioux have been able to do in past years. February 15, 1998 stands out in my mind. However, that was old building, where the Sioux were more likely to do that. Quote

Regardless of time, I want to be wrong when I say, "The Sioux are playing not to win." Seriously sloppy. they had a few good shifts but now being beaten to the puck again lets see some consistency as they can not play well for more than 2 minutes at a time but there is still a lot of hockey left in this series Quote
dakotadan Posted December 9, 2007 Posted December 9, 2007 OK. I have seen way too many passes that have gone directly to wide open Gopher players with no Sioux player in the area. Quote
dakotadan Posted December 9, 2007 Posted December 9, 2007 750 percent... WOW HAHA. I was trying to figure that one out too. So UM has won more games against the Sioux than they have even played? Quote
NDviaEP Posted December 9, 2007 Posted December 9, 2007 HAHA. I was trying to figure that one out too. So UM has won more games against the Sioux than they have even played? yeah, apparently .750 record is equal to 750 percent win percentage Quote
Siouxdonyms Posted December 9, 2007 Posted December 9, 2007 Big save by Lammy. Maybe that will turn things around. Quote

OETKB Posted December 9, 2007 Posted December 9, 2007 UND can't even generate shots on net, let alone good chances. Being dominated tonight. Quote
Siouxdonyms Posted December 9, 2007 Posted December 9, 2007 Frattin with a nice chance from Watkins, but couldn't get it. He's had a great weekend (Watkins). Quote
AussieSiouxFan Posted December 9, 2007 Posted December 9, 2007 Is it just me or do the Sioux all look very tired, fatigued and slow? Quote
dakotadan Posted December 9, 2007 Posted December 9, 2007 Frattin had a big chance there but missed the back hand. That would have been huge and brought some excitement back to the building! Quote
