AZSIOUX
I thought there was still a waiting list for season tickets? Apparently not! there was before last year but i think they may have opened up some extra upper level season tix
redwing77
Nice start for the boys to build the confidence. Need a good week of practice so we can bring home our first win next Saturday night! I hope so.
siouxnami
I would say 1st Star - Kaip 3G 2nd Star - Trupp 1G, 1A, Great hustle play. 3rd Star - Walski, stabilized our goaltending when the score, if not the game, was still close.
Siouxdonyms
I hope so. Definitely a tougher opponent next weekend!

SiouxForever
Wasn't at the game, but heard Marto looked pretty good at defense, what are your people thoughts about his play? I see Marto playing a lot and see maybe Jones sitting or someone at forward being a scratch. People on this years squad will be battling for spots, should be interesting. I find it interesting that you'd sit one of our better defensive defensemen. Why do you think that?
redwing77
Definitely a tougher opponent next weekend! Yup. And it won't end up positive if Lammy comes out to play the way he did at the beginning and if our play in the 3rd period tonight comes out at ANY time during that game. Fetch
Marto was solid & maybe one of the best skaters on the ice Over all ? ? ? I thought Malone looked good & Trupp is Fiesty Captain Kaip was outstanding Lammy

Boys didn't look as conditioned in the 3rd as they're going to need to be. Good things it's only the first game of the year and we have time to get into that kind of game shape! Sioux-cia
Lets get 7 of these Settle for 9? Man, it's so much better watching the game from Section 113, row G, seat 4 than it is from my laptop!!! I'M HOME!!!!!!!
AZSIOUX
I might eat my shoe if that were to happen. Marto may be ready, but barring injury I don't see him playing much until next season. exactly. it would be between him and lapoint and i see lapoint playing a lot. marto may have to wait his turn barring injury. i think he understood that as well judging his comments coming in as he knows how deep this D group is. he may get some starts here and there but next saturday we will find out who gets the nod at D vs a real team which means something. Fetch
AZ you are wrong on this - Marto looked like a veteran & Lapointe looked liked the rookie & was stiff in comparsion (I hate to burst your bubble but jake could skate circles around him & still beat him to the other end)

Fetch
well it worked on sioux-cia it would be between him and lapoint and i see lapoint playing a lot. marto may have to wait his turn barring injury. i think he understood that as well judging his comments coming in as he knows how deep this D group is. he may get some starts here and there sounded like you cared
Big A HG
I thought Lapoint played VERY well. He didn't get too aggressive on D, just did what he was supposed, and also he made some very good passes. Size-wise Lapoint is better as well. It will be hard to convince a lot of homers on here about that.

I just got back from the game and yes marto looked better then lapoint. lapoint looked confused at times but does have nice size and good speed i liked marto's ability to jump up into the play and get back into position. I also think oshie played amazing some of the moves he made/ almost made were very impressive and chorney looked realy good to kaip with a nice one timer and trupp with a snipe and a good back checking play. I also thought that kozek played well as did brad miller. and is it time to start labeling forney as a bust? :
