WiSioux Posted September 23, 2007 Author Posted September 23, 2007 The "Daffy Duck" formation for the second time tonight... Center and two down linemen on the line, plus three recievers on each side... WWU QB seems to be trying to do it all himself from here on out... keeps running the ball (and it's working). 1st and 10 from the UND 35 Blitz, complete to the UND 20 - Alexandar Quote
Sioux27 Posted September 23, 2007 Posted September 23, 2007 Daffy Duck? That is only legal in junior high! Quote
Sioux-cia Posted September 23, 2007 Posted September 23, 2007 Even in North Dakota there is a small town every 10-15-20 miles along the interstates. Not in Wyoming. You can drive forever without even seeing a ghost town along an exit. If you ever go that way, make sure to fill up in Cheyenne because there isn't a gas station between there and Billings! If I have to go that way I guess the wine casks will be filled with gas!! Quote
SiouxMeNow Posted September 23, 2007 Posted September 23, 2007 EGF had a year where they ran goofy formations like this...had some success but a gimmick is only a gimmick... Quote
WiSioux Posted September 23, 2007 Author Posted September 23, 2007 1st and 10 from the UND 11, 2:56 left in the game Bobbled and incomplete in the back of the endzone 2nd and 10 Perry runs for 3, gets up kinda slow after being hit 3rd and 7 Taken to the 1... First and goal Quote
Siouxmama Posted September 23, 2007 Posted September 23, 2007 They are bringing back the Daffy Duck. Thats funny. Years ago, I bought my son a Daffy Duck christmas ornament. He is holding a football and wearing a helmet. Quote
Siouxman Posted September 23, 2007 Posted September 23, 2007 If I have to go that way I guess the wine casks will be filled with gas!! I know a shortcut around Denver. At Colorado Springs take US 24 to the east, turn north at Limon, pass through Last Chance, and hit I76 east at Brush, CO. It is good road (we did it in August). Just be sure to fill your tank at Colorado Springs. You avoid all that fun at Denver. Quote
Siouxdonyms Posted September 23, 2007 Posted September 23, 2007 awww...Tony is sleepy... *A popular southern phrase here* Damn titty baby! Quote

dakotadan Posted September 23, 2007 Posted September 23, 2007 Is it just me or is their school song a REAL bad rip-off? Quote

WiSioux Posted September 23, 2007 Author Posted September 23, 2007 Sioux recover the onside kick.... Dressler! 1st down Freund fumbles and recovers Injuried O-lineman... Justin Mushey (sp?) Quote
Siouxman Posted September 23, 2007 Posted September 23, 2007 You caught that, huh? At one time that might have meant something, but not so much now. Not much there, but they do have a little roadside park if you need to relieve some of that wine intake. There is a decent amount of traffic on the road. Quote

I'm pretty sure that's I 17, nope, it's I70. No toll fees! Quote
WiSioux Posted September 23, 2007 Author Posted September 23, 2007 Chappell for 3... WWU calls a timeout with 1:08 left Quote
WiSioux Posted September 23, 2007 Author Posted September 23, 2007 TOUCHDOWN TRENBETH! 31 yards... on 4th down UND 63 WWU 42 Quote
SiouxMeNow Posted September 23, 2007 Posted September 23, 2007 OOOOOOOHHHHHHH! Rubbing it in? final thoughts on this one...the Sioux offense is AWESOME! No doubt! For all the years we "hung our hat on the defense" - it's nice to know we have the offensive punch to persevere in a shootout! Grand Valley can roll opponent after opponent in their conference but I for one am glad we get challenges because I think that makes us a better FB team... Quote
