Maybe he's been kissing Hauser? ;)

:)

here is the email fromt heir president, very nice of him to email

Ryan,

Thanks for your inquiry. Brad was diagnosed with mononucleosis on August 25/07 and missed all of training camp and then wound up in the hospital for a week. He was a very sick young man but is now out of the hospital and on the road to recovery. He is now back with the team and has started skating lightly this past week. We are hopeful that Brad will be back playing sometime around the middle to the end of October.

Cool that he would respond like that. :) Guess there is no HIPPA in Canada. ;)

This weekend is week 3 for the fall elite league. The games are again in New Hope this weekend so if anyone is near the twin cities area it would be good to go check out. Here are the stats after week two going into this weekend,

Great post! Thanks for the schedule. Looks like the week of Oct. 5, 6, 7 will be great for watching some of the Sioux prospects and a lot of talented WCHA players-to-be. Living in Maple Grove it will be about a 10 minute drive to watch some great hockey! Hockey in the morning football in the afternoon. Nice little Saturday planned.

Many of our current recruits will be participating in the USHL Fall Classic, which starts on Thursday and runs through Saturday. At least one of our coaches usually attends the tournament. Here is a list of our current recruits that will be participating in the tournament,

Mario Lamoureux-LC - Tri-City

Jason Gregoire-LW - Lincoln

Ben Blood-LD - Des Moines

Brett Bruneteau-LC - Indiana

Mike Cichy-LC - Tri-City

Here is the link to the website, which has pretty much all the info you need besides rosters.

Mike Fink had a pretty ordinary night in Waterloo tonight (L 2-1, Cedar Rapids). He created a couple scoring opportunities for linemates (they didn't finish) when established in the offensive zone and got a shift on the PK, but looked like he was learning more than playing when the puck was loose or in CR's possession. It's a jump from HS to USHL (and he's the youngest forward on the Waterloo roster).

Former Fargo Southie Paul Weisgarber got Waterloo's only goal.

Oops, forgot to add Fink. He will also be participating this weekend in the Fall Classic.

would'nt this belong in the prospective recruits thread but anyway it is nice to see that there doing okay maybe they could be hometown boys like marto and play for the sioux after a couple years of juniors.

Yes, it probably should have, but when they were discussing elite league stats, I thought I would slip it in.
