tnt
Maybe that is why Finley got a penalty for a clean check in the semi-final game. They are just priming the pump to ban him completely from college hockey for being too big!
Siouxmama
Unbelievable.
yzerman19
How pathetic! It just shows again what a business hockey is in Canada and how political it has all become. Poor kid, he's big and good, so he can't play with his friends? Play him up a level and see how he does...that and buy him an ice cream for a bunch of a hole adults being jerks. siouxnami
Send him to Shattuck and UND, let him play on Team USA and allow him to captain a gold medal winning team over Canada. that will show them...

I don't know if this is all of Canada. I think it is just Quebec. Quebec thinks they are a cut above the rest because they speak two languages and sympathize with the French more than with the British history of Canada. This was purely political. More against Shawville than against Murray because they aren't french speaking panzies like the rest of the province.
Fetch
there are always kids way ahead of others - I hope they go to the A league or he goes to a private school & continues to get bigger & develop I could send a donation to a kid like that (maybe even adopt him) to get him down here shaking my head in disbelief Sad part is he will most likely go towards another sport - He is a BIG BOY

The story or the reasons for the ban just sounds too simplistic to me. I'm sure there is something else that hasn't been disclosed that may be the real reason for the ban. The kid looks like he needs to go on a bit of a diet anyway. I'm going to guess that the league they played in wasn't really that competative. Hey, in a few more years and a few more pounds, he could vie for a slot as a goaltender on an National Lacrosse League team.

Sioux_Yeah_Yeah
Wow, that's pretty bad! I clicked at the link on the bottom about the other story he recently wrote... Perhaps you should take up French Canadian Heritage with Toews, Lammy and the Parises the next time you get a chance.

Hmm... a point well taken. I should also mention that there is a strong difference between the French speaking Canadians at large and the Quebecois French speaking Canadians. I know some French Speaking Manitobans and they aren't NEARLY as whacko as some of these Seperatist Quebecois and radical pro-French Canadians in Quebec. French speaking Canadians are one thing, the radicals that are behind this persecution of Shawville based solely upon the fact that they prefer English to French is another.
