UND95 Posted March 17, 2003 Posted March 17, 2003 Sorry guys watching it on the television. I can slow down on the updates if you would like, don't want to take the fun out it for anyone. Quote
jk Posted March 17, 2003 Posted March 17, 2003 I was just about to type that I thought maybe Prpich shouldn't be on the top PP unit. He seems a step behind the other guys in moving the puck around. Glad I didn't type that one... OK, win a third period at home and go to the final five plus have a pretty decent chance of playing the next weekend as well. Quote
Ghost of Smith Posted March 17, 2003 Posted March 17, 2003 either that he is typing from the bench!! I have seen this game before. I'm going to go pace around the house for ten. Nice way to end the second!! Quote
SiouxFanInBoston Posted March 17, 2003 Posted March 17, 2003 I couldn't post something after that goal -- flood control kicked in on the site -- love the enthusiasm from the Sioux fans stuck at home!!! Quote
Ghost of Smith Posted March 17, 2003 Posted March 17, 2003 I don't mind. It lets me enjoy the call a bit more because I'm expecting it. Quote
SiouxFanInBoston Posted March 17, 2003 Posted March 17, 2003 I don't mind, either -- when it's bad news you have time to prepare. When it's good, you're looking forward to hearing it for yourself! (But, here's to no more bad news in advance for the rest of the game!!!) Quote
ScottM Posted March 17, 2003 Posted March 17, 2003 Nice way to end the period, hopefully the guys take that momentum to the next level and score early into the third. Blais must be going nuts right now since he's not there. Quote
UND95 Posted March 17, 2003 Posted March 17, 2003 That too many men on the ice call seemed to rev the guys up for some reason, they came onto the ice with a great flurry after that. We need to come out in the third and take it to them, they (DU) are dressing 5 D men again, so they have to be getting tired. Keep hitting the heck out of them and use or speed to either create chances or force them into penalties (if they are called). Quote
MinnesotaNorthStar Posted March 17, 2003 Posted March 17, 2003 Blais must be going nuts right now since he's not there.  I know this sounds corny, but I can't resist ...................win one for the Gipper!!!! Quote
SiouxFanInBoston Posted March 17, 2003 Posted March 17, 2003 TH said Coach Blais is so sick right now that he is sleeping. Must be dreaming about Thursday's game .... EDIT: (I meant that in a good way ... GO SIOUX!) Quote
UND95 Posted March 17, 2003 Posted March 17, 2003 And Blais is back on the bench to start the third. Quote
Ghost of Smith Posted March 17, 2003 Posted March 17, 2003 Sleeping?! Holy crap how can the guy sleep? I can't stop pacing. I don't mean to date myself here but it was a good break so I could watch Elvis Costello on VH1 get inducted in the hall of fame. Took my mind off the game for a bit. Quote
SiouxFanInBoston Posted March 17, 2003 Posted March 17, 2003 HUGE save by Brandt!!! (Against Skinner). "May be a game saving save." Quote
UND95 Posted March 17, 2003 Posted March 17, 2003 I think they had a cot set up in the runway for him Quote
SiouxFanInBoston Posted March 17, 2003 Posted March 17, 2003 Don't know where CB was sleeping -- TH just said he was in the building sleeping. Glad he's behind the bench now! Quote
Ghost of Smith Posted March 17, 2003 Posted March 17, 2003 Thank god brandt is playing well. knock on wood. Quote
SiouxFanInBoston Posted March 17, 2003 Posted March 17, 2003 14:30 left to go. Still 2-2. Period a little unorganized for both teams, we're told. Save on Schneider. Quote
UND95 Posted March 17, 2003 Posted March 17, 2003 Sioux had another great scoring chance, but no goal Quote
UND95 Posted March 17, 2003 Posted March 17, 2003 I wish the Sioux would be a bit more patient with the shots from the point. DU is blocking a lot of them, and going down to do it, and if the Sioux would just wait a bit, they would create good opportunities, plus, when it is blocked, it can lead to a DU breakout. Quote
farce poobah Posted March 17, 2003 Posted March 17, 2003 We ARE a third period team. We WILL win this one. Mark my words. Quote
