Snake
Goofs need 1 point to clinch. I think 1 point to clinch a tie. IIRC they are only 3 points ahead of SCSU, but SCSU would have the #1 seed in the Final Five by virtue of head-to-head record.
PCM
Duncan is a special player. He constantly gives the credit to Toews and Oshie, but nobody else on the team buries scoring chances like Dunc.
Wreckincrew
Goofs need 1 point to clinch. They are up 3 points on JBSU but with the sweep they lost the season tie-breaker 0-2-2 so they might need 2 ties, or a win, or JBSU loss to clinch. edit: Snake beat me to it. PCM
Next weekend on Friday, we need Minnesota to win, UND to win and DU to lose. I want Saturday's game at SCSU to be meanignless for the Huskies.

Snake
do we want DU to lose both or just one? It'll depend on if UND can take care of business since we're one point behind DU and only two ahead of CC.

farce poobah
Sioux go 3-10 on the power play for the series. DU goes 0-11. After a slow start on the PK, we're doing pretty well lately. Clearly, "your goalie is your best penalty killer" and Phil looks good. But out positional play, a unified box, getting in front of the shooter, blocking lanes, all look good lately. Siouxdonyms
Hak post-game comments: Real good win. We talked about playing better than last night. Good teams come back. Played with a lot of pride tonight in every area. Rylan Kaip goal was a huge goal. Last night, we didn't get anyone else chipping in. Tonight, Kaip's goal was a huge goal. Duncan's first goal was a highlight reel goal. A Brandon Bochenski goal. Great pass from T.J. on that goal. Real team play and real team contribution in the 3rd period was the key to the game. Siouxdonyms is an awesome guy. Kozek didn't have a good game last night. Thought tonight he bounced back well. Our entire D-corp didn't have a good game last night. Not going to single anyone out. They rebounded well tonight. Phil had some good saves again. Had a calm presence tonight. Don't take anything for granted now in the WCHA. We go into St. Cloud next weekend, and they're looking for the McNaughton Cup. Looking for a real battle going in there. We're playing well right now. Don't know how that equates out on the national scale. Have to continue to play well. Going into the hornet's nest.

Then the Sioux would only have to win one game in St. Cloud to take over third place.
