BigGreyAnt41
damnnnnnnnnnnn penalties will kill you, we know that 1st hand 1-1 No, sitting in the penalty box will kill you, even if you're there without committing a penalty.
AZSIOUX
Canada gets the PPG. USA's luck finally runs out. hell we have only given them 8 friken PP's. come on guys..............
sprig
That was a typically weak Ulf call on Geoffrion. He made many like that in the earlier game I watched.
PCM
No, sitting in the penalty box will kill you, even if you're there without committing a penalty. So that's why it stinks in there.
jk
What do you know Downie was out he next shift. Downie was embelishing that elbow. When he got back to the bench you could see him basically tell the trainer Oh I am ok. Good for Carmine you should have hit him earlier. Not good for Carman. Selfish to take an elbowing penalty late with a 1-goal lead. They survived that one but not the next.
dagies
Could that have been sort of a "make-up" call for the US cross-check in front of the net that went uncalled?
sprig
On a more positive note, Toews should get an assist on the tieing goal.
sprig
Could that have been sort of a "make-up" call for the US cross-check in front of the net that went uncalled? Might be, although watching this Swede referee is like watching Don Adam. Can't figure out any pattern or consistency to what he calls. PCM
On the plus side, the US appears to have picked up the tempo of the game.
AZSIOUX
On a more positive note, Toews should get an assist on the tieing goal. i guess, chorney with a goal and toews with a assist, not bad....now lee needs to get the game winner and we will have a trifecta

sprig
Canada has gone back to rolling 4 lines after the tieing goal, giving Toews a little more rest time.
Goon
Jack Johnson was step for step with Downie, I am sure Jack was waiting for the Icing to be called off so he could pound Downie into the boards it would be sweet to see but honestly, the Americans have to stop focusing on Downie, its throwing their game off. Now is not the time to settle scores. Most of us realize that Downie is a gutless hack, no more stupid penalties. Anyone else sick and tired of listening to the stupid booing by the Canadians every time Jack Johnson touches the puck? You want to tell them hey guys time to grow up and move on. sprig
so 10 minutes and then shootout if need be?? Right, 10 minutes of 4x4. Goalies have played too well for either to lose, a shootout would be a real killer for the loser.
AZSIOUX
JT is super-smooth. yes he is, wish he was born a couple hundred miles south because im not much of a canada fan to begin with and downy hasnt helped that but JT keeps me 1% in
dead_rabbit
Here's a link to the French Canadian Webcast: http://www.rds.ca/lhjmq/mondial/mondial2007/webcast.html Listening to the USA Hockey audio and watching the Canadian video works well. http://www.usahockey.com/ Sorry if this has already been asked and answered, but does anybody know how to mute the volume and the French Canadien Webcast?
