dagies Posted December 17, 2006 Posted December 17, 2006 Ice started to tilt a little the right direction before the stoppage. Sioux haven't been getting much sustained action in the offensive zone. Tech has jump. The way things are going you get the feeling it's very important for our team to get the first goal. Tech won't give up, but to have to play from behind again might be a killer. Quote
HockeyMom Posted December 17, 2006 Posted December 17, 2006 Thanks but I'm drinking wine tonight; easier to sneak onto the rez. Boone's Farm or boxed wine? I would die laughing if they had a big old raid on your trailer tonight....... Quote
Smoggy Posted December 17, 2006 Posted December 17, 2006 We seem to be getting the shots off. I've also seen us leave guys un-defended in front of the net. Quote
Sioux-cia Posted December 17, 2006 Posted December 17, 2006 How's the quality on the webcast for others? Mine is very blurry even on the shrunken screen. On the little screen it's clear. Full screen it's 'is the bottle empty already'! Quote
keikla Posted December 17, 2006 Posted December 17, 2006 How's the quality on the webcast for others? Mine is very blurry even on the shrunken screen. Maybe it's time to put down the beer.... Quote
HockeyMom Posted December 17, 2006 Posted December 17, 2006 Maybe it's time to put down the beer.... NO WASTING MY BEER! Quote
dagies Posted December 17, 2006 Posted December 17, 2006 Good work by the VV line and great hustle by Forney causes Tech to take a penalty. If they didn't pull Forney down he was going to walk in with a good opportunity into the slot. Quote
Smoggy Posted December 17, 2006 Posted December 17, 2006 Maybe it's time to put down the beer.... Are you a Gopher fan in disguise? Sioux fans don't let other Sioux fans not have a beer in their hand. Quote
Sioux-cia Posted December 17, 2006 Posted December 17, 2006 I want the guys playing like there's only two minutes left in the game and we just pulled the goalie!!! Quote
Smoggy Posted December 17, 2006 Posted December 17, 2006 I can't imagine getting a better opportunity than Oshie just had. All that great work for nothing. Quote
dagies Posted December 17, 2006 Posted December 17, 2006 Great work by Oshie, he carries the puck into the zone, and feeds an open Miller, who hits the post. Rebound comes out front, Oshie does a little spin-o-rama, picks up the puck, makes a move to get open and gets off a shot. I was sure he'd score, but Nolan got something on it. Great work by Oshie. Sioux will score soon if they keep that up. Quote
HockeyMom Posted December 17, 2006 Posted December 17, 2006 Why does the crowd need to tell someone to shoot at the end of the period? Quote

Sioux-cia Posted December 17, 2006 Posted December 17, 2006 Boone's Farm or boxed wine? I would die laughing if they had a big old raid on your trailer tonight....... Rawson's Retreat, Shiraz Cabernet!!! If they do I'll know who squealed on me!!! Quote
brianvf Posted December 17, 2006 Posted December 17, 2006 Why does the crowd need to tell someone to shoot at the end of the period? Because the players don't have an internal clock that tells them how much time is remaining. Quote
Runninwiththedogs Posted December 17, 2006 Posted December 17, 2006 Whoa, RWD is late to the party tonight. What's going on? Dogs are winning 2-1. Quote
dagies Posted December 17, 2006 Posted December 17, 2006 2nd period will be different tonite. I hope. Genoway with a couple of great rushes on one shift, one where he skated through both teams and got a shot on goal. Unfortunately, at the finish he was pretty deep on what appeared to be his backhand, so didn't get a real dangerous shot off. I feel like the this game is teetering on the edge. Sioux seem to be having the better of the play, but Tech's getting some opportunities. I think the Sioux need to finish and see some reward for their hard work rather than have to work from behind again. Quote
HockeyMom Posted December 17, 2006 Posted December 17, 2006 Because the players don't have an internal clock that tells them how much time is remaining. Yeah, but you should be able to look at the clock and see how much time is remaining and KNOW that you have to shoot the damn puck. Quote
