mygarske Posted October 29, 2006 Posted October 29, 2006 trying to forget that mental image. not to offend hockeymom, but i don't go that way. She has been very randy tonight. I think she was drinking one for every one she was getting for us. Or maybe she was doing more body shots....off herself! : ) Quote
Sioux_Hab-it Posted October 29, 2006 Posted October 29, 2006 Good thing I put my Sioux jersey on for the third period. I hope you had a really good reason for taking it off in the second. Quote

keikla Posted October 29, 2006 Posted October 29, 2006 I love watching (or listening) to Duncan and Kozek score. They always seem to be such quick, lethal shots that the goalie never even sees. Great night for the boys. Bring on the SCSU Quote
WiSioux Posted October 29, 2006 Posted October 29, 2006 Thanks. You did a great job with it last night. haha... thanks. I knew there was a good reason I took keyboarding 1 and 2 in high school Quote
The Whistler Posted October 29, 2006 Posted October 29, 2006 I love watching (or listening) to Duncan and Kozek score. They always seem to be such quick, lethal shots that the goalie never even sees. Great night for the boys. Bring on the SCSU You must have good ears. Quote

mygarske Posted October 29, 2006 Posted October 29, 2006 I think Hennesey is $hitfaced drunk! He can't keep any of the highlights straight. I'm waiting for one of the Maine calls to pop up next. Quote
Siouxmama Posted October 29, 2006 Posted October 29, 2006 haha... thanks. I knew there was a good reason I took keyboarding 1 and 2 in high school Holy Crap!! Keyboarding?? When I was in school it was called typing. S*%@ I'm old. Quote

Hiram Posted October 29, 2006 Posted October 29, 2006 I'm good, my boy Porter got a goal!!! Guess that means he is on your "hottie list" now Quote
mygarske Posted October 29, 2006 Posted October 29, 2006 The called it typing when I took it in high school. I barely passed. I was going to say the same thing, but it would have made me feel old. Devils Lake Central High wasn't exactly "high tech" in the mid to late 80's. Quote
PCM Posted October 29, 2006 Posted October 29, 2006 I'm good, my boy Porter got a goal!!! The game-winner, in fact. Quote
southpaw Posted October 29, 2006 Posted October 29, 2006 They called it typing when I took it in high school. I barely passed. they had things to type with back then? figured it be called "rocking" or something. Quote
WiSioux Posted October 29, 2006 Posted October 29, 2006 Coach's Report: (I'll keep editting this post so that it's all in one place ) Three Stars (UND version) 3- Andrew Kozek 2- TJ Oshie 1- Brian Lee Hak: Smiled on the bench, actually chuckled. Ran into Troy someone after the 2nd (coach) both looked at each other and shrugged our shoulders. 3rd period showed that we've got a little grit, a little character. We played a good third period. After the second, we've gotta fix a couple of things. Obviously, we can't fix it now, gotta show some composure, do what we need to do to win the game. Second period was goofy. Did dumb/selfish things to put ourself in the penalty box. Didn't have one poor player in the third period. Was very important that we never trailed, we always were able to answer. Strange games, strange bounces. First two periods neither team could kill a penalty. Couple of our goals were really good plays. 5 on 3 in the third, and we did an excellent job killing that. Grieco, first goal was a bounch, had no chance. In a nutshell, Anthony will need to work on rebound control, especially power plays. That's typical of a young goalie. Goalie has to be the best penalty killer. He got two wins, that's a good place to start. He'll go back to work on Monday like everyone else. Kozek had two shots on goal last night from right around the faceoff, they went into the chest. Tonight, first goal you could say was a bad goal, but it was a big time shot. Heck of a play. Screened shot. He's the only one that can do it. Same with his power play goal. Only one or two negatives to correct, and we have to correct it soon or it will cost us. Protected the puck, advanced the puck, and did smart things with the puck today. Quote
UND83 Posted October 29, 2006 Posted October 29, 2006 Jutting looked pretty down during the post-game interview. He is trying to figure out how to fix the Mavs 1st periods. If he finds an answer making he can share with Hak for the Sioux's 2nd period. Quote
Runninwiththedogs Posted October 29, 2006 Posted October 29, 2006 Guess that means he is on your "hottie list" now Porter has made the All-WCHA Hottie Team 2 years in a row... and will officially make it a 3rd! UNHEARD OF! Quote
