Smoggy Posted October 14, 2006 Posted October 14, 2006 Quick score, I can't believe Omaha screwed up the long snap like that. It seemed like the snap was going to the upback for a fake. Quote
PCM Posted October 14, 2006 Posted October 14, 2006 How is the CSTV Webcast working for others? It looks like a slide show to me. And now I just lost the radio broadcast. Quote

Yeah, I lost the radio broadcast too. My CSTV isn't perfect...but it's not too bad. When there's a big play, it gets really blurry. Quote
Smoggy Posted October 14, 2006 Posted October 14, 2006 Nice to hear the UND band playing. Omaha is a fun trip to make. The band always goes on the road once a year. Last year they went to Mankato. We declined the Bison game once, because of the where they put the band and how we were treated. Quote

No problems with the cstv webcast except the aformentioned audio issue. Though I did just lose the UND audio webcast. So I'm dealing with the the poor audio. Quote
BigGame Posted October 14, 2006 Posted October 14, 2006 It seemed like the snap was going to the upback for a fake. That's what it looked like but a few guys did release to cover a punt so they could have just been confused. Quote
fightingsioux4life Posted October 14, 2006 Author Posted October 14, 2006 Omaha starting to get a push from the O line. We have to stop that. Now. Quote

We declined the Bison game once, because of the where they put the band and how we were treated. Since 2002 they've been rotating Omaha and Mankato. Omaha has always treated the band very, very well. Mankato, on the other hand, is always worried about the band turning the game into a home game for the Sioux, but they can't stop the "pep band" from showing up (per NCAA rules), so it works anyway. siouxforeverbaby Posted October 14, 2006 Posted October 14, 2006 Geez- i go to put laundry in the dryer and we score and i come back to music coming from my computer. Exciting times Quote
fightingsioux4life Posted October 14, 2006 Author Posted October 14, 2006 Omaha driving. Come on Defense!!!! Quote
PCM Posted October 14, 2006 Posted October 14, 2006 Great. Radio comes on just in time for me to hear a UNO TD. Quote
The Walrus Posted October 14, 2006 Posted October 14, 2006 Our Radio coverage continues to be a JOKE! Quote
fightingsioux4life Posted October 14, 2006 Author Posted October 14, 2006 Touchdown Omaha! Big pass play! (again) Another missed tackle by the defense. 36 yards. Penalty on Omaha on PAT, its good anyway. Near the end of 1st quarter UNO 14 UND 7 Time to respond. Quote
Smoggy Posted October 14, 2006 Posted October 14, 2006 The corner just whiffed on a tackle! Looked like he was going for the pass deflection, but got too far in front. That drive was way to easy for Omaha. They are doing a great job of throwing the ball, and their running back is fast. Quote
fightingsioux4life Posted October 14, 2006 Author Posted October 14, 2006 7 plays, 80 yards on UNO touchdown drive. Run and pass both effective. Unacceptable. Quote
fightingsioux4life Posted October 14, 2006 Author Posted October 14, 2006 End of first quarter. Sioux will have the ball for start of second quarter. We need a long TD drive. Now. Quote

True, but if he is playing it correctly he should have been able to make the tackle even though he missed the deflection. Quote
fightingsioux4life Posted October 14, 2006 Author Posted October 14, 2006 Chappell nice run to 45 of UND. Quote
fightingsioux4life Posted October 14, 2006 Author Posted October 14, 2006 Dressler bubble-screen to Omaha 45. First down UND. Quote
PCM Posted October 14, 2006 Posted October 14, 2006 Our offense is having some success, which is good, but I expected the defense to be better than it's been so far. Quote
fightingsioux4life Posted October 14, 2006 Author Posted October 14, 2006 Sioux now inside the Omaha 30. Come on boys! Quote
fightingsioux4life Posted October 14, 2006 Author Posted October 14, 2006 This could be a high-scoring game. Quote
