crosby_87 Posted March 15, 2006 Posted March 15, 2006 I'd love to see people holding up scoring placards every time a UW player dives. Like this: 10 With the numbers changeable for scoring purposes. It can have the top read: "UW Swimming and Diving Grade:" With the numbers hanging underneath... or if someone can think of something better to write on the sign. Instead of the "UW Swimming and Diving Grade:" it could be "Score for Robbie Earl's Most Recent Dive:" Quote
AZSIOUX Posted March 15, 2006 Posted March 15, 2006 I think that's brilliant, but do you think people would get it? Unless you are talking about the person, not the cartoon character. I wouldn't, I've already seen some Gopher fans with the same idea, except about UND. i guess this idea gets around like the block like paris hilton Quote
Wrong Side of the Red Posted March 15, 2006 Posted March 15, 2006 How about this Robbie Earl Winner of the 2004, 2005, 2006 Jacque Custo Award Quote
redwing77 Posted March 15, 2006 Posted March 15, 2006 Instead of the "UW Swimming and Diving Grade:" it could be "Score for Robbie Earl's Most Recent Dive:" Yeah, that sounds better Quote
Siouxhockey78 Posted March 15, 2006 Posted March 15, 2006 I wonder if they'd let a guy into the building wearing scuba gear and a Badger cap? If you were a Goofer fan it would be easier because they let all those delinquents iin.... Quote
BigGreyAnt41 Posted March 15, 2006 Posted March 15, 2006 I took this idea from somebody else (can't remember where I saw it) but I cleaned it up and made it look a bit more realistic. This would probably be copyright infringment. http://www.prideforums.org/chris/defeat2.jpg Here's the Milk cartons, for anybody interested in seeing them again. (Notice, one says "Milk" and one says "WCHA") http://www.prideforums.org/chris/missing2.jpg http://www.prideforums.org/chris/missing3.jpg Quote
BigChief Posted March 15, 2006 Posted March 15, 2006 If you are up for excitement I would go with something like: "Intermission Entertainment Provided By Tyler Hirsch" Then sit near the Goofer parents section like CVCL did last year. He barely got out of the X alive. Quote

farce poobah Posted March 15, 2006 Posted March 15, 2006 I have seats nearby behind the player benches on Friday PM. I'm thinking that after a dive .... "Robbie Earl Diving School is NOW in Session" With diving flags on the perimeter .... Needs spice ... anybody improve? Quote

Goon Posted March 15, 2006 Posted March 15, 2006 I was thinking what time do the Tigers and Pios play? Quote
Sioux Hockey Fanatic Posted March 15, 2006 Posted March 15, 2006 I may reuse my sign from last year--- Badgers The other white meat! Or Badger-it's what's for dinner. But I need a good one for when the gophers loose. I already have my sign about Briggs. Quote
UMDDogz Posted March 16, 2006 Posted March 16, 2006 If you were a Goofer fan it would be easier because they let all those delinquents iin.... Yeah. They let my buddy Scotty (a Goofer fan) in with an empty Coors Light case on his head! He just kept singing "I'm the man IN THE BOX!" Quote
