The Summit does not sponsor a football conference. If there was a Summit football conference, there might be a slight chance that this would be discussed.

IF the summit sponsored fb and ndac moved their football elsewhere it is more than a "slight" chance they get kicked out.....they would be gone in days.

let's say that this pyramid scheme they are running in Cass county works...they are raking in the sponsorships and money and their men's bball coach makes twice as much as the next summit League bball coach?  oh well?  deal with it? "it's there money...they can do what they want with it?"

You are saying The Summit should kick NDSU out of the conference because they are winning too much and dominating the conference like MiAC did to St Thomas?

What does Denver have to do with it? They left, not kicked out.

NDSU’s football affiliation is not grounds to be removed from a non-football conference.

You want to beat them to the punch because they might leave in 5+ years?

 

The idea to form a conference with the other northern schools makes more sense and, in the end, would be a stronger conference than the new MWC. Focus your energy there. Then, if you are going to be vindictive, don’t invite NDSU to the new conference.

the vote is closer than I thought....plus there are about 5 losers on there that probably voted no just bc I voted yes so it's about fifty fifty which is kinda surprising to me.....thought it would be be eighty percent no.

Threads like this make you miss SiouxVolley. He had big visions for UND and realignment and was wrong more often than not, but at least he had some solid reasoning behind his projections and not just crazy ramblings.

my fav mental gymanstics is "mwc is so garbage we'll run this conf from day 1"....if your confenrece is so trashy your SOS will never ever get you that one spot..it'll go to the SBC or the American every time...
