We were gifted with what we think is a vintage UND hockey sweater/jersey. With what we can find in the “75 Years of Fighting Sioux Hockey History” book, it looks like it could be from the 1953-54 season and beyond?? We can’t find anything similar online. Just curious if anyone on this forum may have a better idea of what we have.

That style jersey was used from the 1950-51 through 1956-57 seasons.   According to UND media guide, #8 was worn by James Hannesson (1954-57) and John Morrison (1956-57) in that time span.   Or it could be Guy LaFrance, who was #8 in 1957-58.  They used those jerseys for the team picture that year, but different style jerseys for games.

Any idea where the gifter got it from? Can we see the tag? How about the inside?

Pretty sure that a Temu fake.  I’ll give you five bucks for it.  PM sent!

Certainly not a Temu fake, and we have no interest in selling it.
