It will be interesting to see who stays and who goes. The actual portal doesn't open until April 7th I believe, but I assume that won't stop players from announcing. With the tournament this coming weekend, I would imagine we may see something next week - but I think that is actually spring break week, so many of the players will go home and think about it.  I would also assume or hope the coaches have some end of year meetings set up along with off season workouts starting March 16th. That may be the week we officially find out.  The portal is only open for 3 weeks this year, so the jumping in period should be fairly quick.

While I agree, were you not the one to point out how many games we've lost since he got his extension in your writeup in the game day thread for the SLT???? Or am I mixing you up with someone else?

Snarky! You are right, I did mention that and mentioned how the results were not super surprising given where and who (even though SDSU is down) we were playing.

Eli deserves it, as does Greyson.  Loved watching Eli throughout his time at UND, played both ends of the floor, played with class, didn't whine at the refs, and worked his tail off.  Wish that he had another year.  Hope that Greyson stays; he and Eli were two big reasons why UND overachieved in the conference this season.

Heh... the coaching post was shared because we had a few posters who seemed to be serious that Sather should get the Coach of the year, I even think something was mentioned about it being "obvious". 

I think everyone here is happy for Eli and Greyson, and believe they deserve the recognition.
