There's a very real chance they miss the NCAA's and Greg Brown suddenly finds himself on the hot seat. HEA playoffs are single elimination games so if they lose after this weekend (let alone their remaining regular season game tomorrow), they're probably done.

I'd be ok with BC, BU, and UMN all missing the NCAA's.

There's this weird fallacy being thrown around social media that is implying that all good Canadian CHLers were expensive to add in terms of NIL. That's completely false. A large portion, likely a 60-70% majority of Canadian CHLers that became eligible and are now in the NCAA for 2025-26, did not cost much if any to bring to campus.

People just like to use NIL as a convenient excuse for not recruiting harder and better.

So, you have a tournament and when a game goes to OT you just do 3x3 OT with a shootout.

UCUC do better next time. 5x5 OT until a winner.

They were penalties, can't say I saw any on Western.
