Please be very cautious about UND fan Facebook groups.

There is a new one that seems like a scam that has 3k members already.

All the admins are fake profiles that are just the same Indian profile farm scam type people.

The dead giveaway other than the admins profiles is the scam tshirt sale links they post.

Facebook scammers have moved from fake profiles posting links to shirts on posts and within groups to just making fake groups.

That way they control and block those that try to warn others of the scams within the group.

Thanks, I checked my groups and "all things fighting sioux" is the only similar group in my list...  but I think FB was pushing that group toward my eyes.  How does one recognize these scammers, and is there something I can do, like report them?

Almost impossible, facebook doesn't care..... at all.

or how much you lose... they just want traffic.

ANY facebook post or anything that leads you to another link to buy something should be looked at with 99% suspicion.

The story of " my daughter (or vulnerable person" designed this shirt" is a common scam ploy, almost as bad as the "game will be broadcast here"  links or the "tragic news just released footage"... phrase

thank thing with heavy Indian based followers or profiles are that, India based troll farms.

All these are super successful in scamming the facebook demographic.

thing is you might actually get the shirt, drop shipping like that is easy but what they have is all your personal info and payment info.

"All things" is basically the exact same but just gotten too big to "fail" in a way.

Nobody is looking out for you, and everybody is trying to take advantage of you.... 2024ness is awesome......

you should probably unfollow that group too. its nothing more than a cesspool of uneducated fans asking the same two questions every week and also pretending they are best friends with "mama gaber"

Well done Sherlock Holmes!  They aren't "Fans" - what part of incomprehensible east indian and foreign names tipped you off?  What was YOUR first clue?  Just because the names were indian?  No wonder people get ripped off on Facebook young and old - again let the buyer beware - you fall for this crap it's your own fault!

your weak reply to...."You should probably unfollow"  Pay attention SiouxKID this is for you...HELLO It's a total FAKE facebook - don't just unfollow -it's a fake!!  Here's how you can help...WARN PEOPLE AWAY!  It's ALL ABOUT taking some action - REPORT THEM!!

Old people fall for this !@#$...think about your grandparents.  You don't have to lift a finger to help yourself (or others from your generation) But don't act like it's a "bother" just because...I'll leave it at that.
