Would it help to start our own “church” so we can assign select young converts to a one or two year mission preaching to USHL hockey players? Maybe during that year or 2 of mission work they could be more effective missionaries if they played USHL hockey during their mission assignment. What a coincidence if they matured enough to be NCAA ready.

Can the courts finally start acting like adults and not let stu-dent ath-o-letes get what ever they want.

Since this is going to arbitration, sign them to 4 year contracts where you can’t portal out. And once the contract is signed and you decide to go to another school. You lose a year pay back all NIL and the new school pays a fee to the original school for the player breaking the contract. Thanks power conference schools for finding a way to kill college sports because of greed.

Utah the first school to partner with private equity.

I'm not sure I'd want UND to do this because there is always a catch and private equity tends to ruin everything.

Time to get the popcorn and drink ready 🍿🥤

Private equity (or outside investors of any kind) aren't doing this from the goodness of their heart.   They want a return on investment, which means profit extracted from sports revenues, at very high rates.

Walk away.

PS Count me happy someone else got suckered in first.

Almost everything private equity touches goes bad for any customers or anyone other than the firm. This is playing with fire.
