siouxjoy
Did I hear the announcer right, we are HOSTING St. Cloud State as the 5th seed? Thank you NCAA and Roger for the playoff bid ($$$$)
Cratter
I'm wondering the same?
FlorenceFan
http://www.ncaasports.com/images/ncaasport...racket_2004.pdf That's the entire bracket from the NCAA web site. Good luck to all that made it!!
jimdahl
Did I hear the announcer right, we are HOSTING St. Cloud State as the 5th seed? Thank you NCAA and Roger for the playoff bid ($$$$) Yes, the announcer definitely said that. Unfortunately for the Sioux, but quite justly for St. Cloud, it seems he was wrong. RD17
I wonder what the policy is for playoff games when it comes to providing tickets for the visiting team? There must be some set number of tickets that must be set aside for the visitors. It would be nice if 500 of the 4000 fans on Saturday were from UND . huskies679
I am sure there will be at least 500 tickets for UND fans. See ya in St Cloud.
Diggler
Anyone know what they were planning to do if UND would've gotten a home game next week? The ND State championships are scheduled for friday/saturday.
LennonIsTheMan
Well, there is a dome 70 miles south where there for sure wouldnt have been a playoff game. They could have moved it there, I'm sure.
Cratter
Or Memorial Stadium.
UND92,96
Anyone know what they were planning to do if UND would've gotten a home game next week? The ND State championships are scheduled for friday/saturday. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> It would not have been a problem. There are four high school championship games, with the 9-man and A games being on Friday. The AA and AAA games are later on Saturday, so if the Sioux had hosted, the game would have been played at about noon on Saturday with no conflicts. bigmrg74
Not to mention how great a recuiting tool that would be. All off the kids from some of the best teams around watching a D2 playoff game??
updm002
Anybody who goes to scsu for the game saturday be sure to bring some ear plugs. I went to scsu earlier this year and their PA system is jacked up to a level that is incredible. I couldn't talk to my neighbor when that guy was screaming into the microphone. It was incredible. Great venue albeit small. Also, anyone who hasn't been to scsu before has to go see their old field (selke) which is about 3/4 mile from the new one. It is an interesting piece of americana and it is unlike any stadium I have ever seen. Looks like it belongs in Leavenworth Federal Prison. The Sicatoka
Anybody else surprised that they didn't swap the seeds to avoid the first round conference foe match-up? They do that in DI hockey, but apparently not here. UND, St. Cloud, Michigan Tech: the WCHA side of the DII football bracket?
