SWSiouxMN Posted January 11, 2019 Author Posted January 11, 2019 1-6 down the stretch in free throw ouch. Quote
sioux24/7 Posted January 11, 2019 Posted January 11, 2019 Known 3 pt specialist Cortez Seales misses the contested 3 with time left on the clock for a better shot. Quote
BarnWinterSportsEngelstad Posted January 11, 2019 Posted January 11, 2019 Fell apart at the end of both halves. A win here could have been sweet early in the season and 1st year in the Summit? Quote

Should have gotten something better than that, but shouldn't have gotten to that point. This team has the same problem as last years: They cannot close. Quote

He had one where he waited until the last second to pass it to what was a wide open Moody who had to chuck up a contested 3 at that point. 1 Quote

Are they that tensed up? before that point, they were 17 of 17. Last 6:47 went 1 of 6 Bigger issue was on the defensive end as it got worse as the night progressed. Quote

SWSiouxMN Posted January 11, 2019 Author Posted January 11, 2019 This one hurt because it was a winnable game at home, you can't let those slip away. Is the team getting better? Without question But they need to learn how to close these type of games. Everyone from the top down needs to do better. Regroup and beat up on WIU. The worst thing this team can do is let this get to them and they start taking steps back. Quote
BarnWinterSportsEngelstad Posted January 11, 2019 Posted January 11, 2019 That puts us tied with Western ILL, one spot out of the basement. Quote
