My parents used to take me to the Barn when I was young (both UND alums).  I remember on the really cold nights the frost would form on the ceiling and it would "snow" inside.  I also remember people packing blankets and thermoses full of various "fortifying beverages", and I remember passing bottles of brandy and schnapps "down the line".  It was a simpler time. It was cold as hell in the Barn on a really cold night.
