Agreed. I don't think anyone is going to abandon ship because we do still care. I just hope the players (and coaches) don't let apathy take over.

Zimmerman is the real deal. Keaton has been a solid play making gamer and great leader for us, but the future at QB has arrived early, like diamond in the rough. When Keaton passes the torch, the QB position will be in good hands.

Our entire secondary plays like hot garbage.  We give opposing QBs confidence on the road and at home. No debating Rudolph's play calling is suspect but if you tell any OC we need you to score 40 points for us to win because we can't stop anybody, that's a lot to ask, at any level.

As for Bubba, I won't comment on him because his apologist will come for me, but the makeup of a good team reflects the attitude and approach of it's coaches.  We need more fight in our plays and more fight in our coach. We have a bunch of choir boys playing football who unfortunately have mental lapses when it matters most during games. That crap needs to stop. We need some kids that feel like football is all they have and will lay it all on the line.

Good effort today, but we gotta win these kind of games, especially at home.

They wouldn't need to score 40 if the offense could keep the ball.  It's splitting hairs, because the defense is riddled with injuries, but your offense needs to help that a bit.

What we need...to be bigger and better at online and dline...get pushed around all the time...WRs that catch almost everything...the number of drops is embarrassing right now and really hurting us...our running back had the only wow catch of the last several weeks...there should be a wow catch a week...at least 4 drops today...better play calling on offense...we can’t line up in 31,22,21 or 32 personnel and expect to move the ball with the on anyone.

Offense sells tickets, but defense wins games. Its possible to win a game 3-0. I agree more efficiency of 3rd down will help. But, injuries or not, giving up 35-40 per points per game is simply not good football...

Watched the game again

matt cox was either being pushed back all day or the defender just ran around him.  He shouldn't be starting

Rooney was pushed back quite frequently but more often then not,  he kept the guy in front of him.

Rastas has the heart , the will and the mentality to be a special player.....just needs to gain 25-30 lbs.  He has taken on the leader roll for the D. Very aware and is constantly trying to the guys in the right position.   He's very aggressive ...just 190 lbs !  His hits would mean something if he were 230lbs

DEs have nearly been nonexistent this year.

Offense needs to be reminded that the TEs are a pass catching  option.

Santiago needs to be lined out wide .....he is just taking a beating running straight up the gut against guys that are 100 lbs bigger then he is.  JJ and Brady at least have the girth to with stand some of that beating....Santiago is a tough SOB but man.....

opposing teams are targeting true fresh blubaugh.   Really like the guy but he shouldn't be playing this year.....more less starting.

Canady is going to be a special player.

Would love to see a zim to izzy connection.....zim can really throw the long ball and izzy is simply a  burner.

Agree with everything said.  Tight ends are never targeted in this offense and Santiago should be in the slot a lot getting oliviera or jj on the field more.

Rastas is playing his heart out, I am just doubtful he will ever carry even close to 230.  Maybe an option for OLB in the future?

lots of guys on d should not be playing this  year, bluebaugh, Shannon, rastas and richman are all at least a year away from being ready IMO.  Been a long season already.

Coming off a 9-3 conference championship season with a playoff appearance will do that. The expectations were further raised when UND was picked to win the conference this season as well as being voted a top 10 team nationally. Fans picked up on this and UND had an all-time season ticket record prior to the season.

So, of course people will be upset when the program has a train wreck season after all that. If changes aren't made because "this is all just bad luck", it won't take long for the aforementioned apathy to set in, trust me. Doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results is the definition of ... Bubba Ball?? I hope not.

It's weird, because I was looking at all these players (except Cox) and had the same thoughts. Rooney got pushed around by the HUGE NG when he was in, but he handled the sub pretty well.

Love Rastas' desire, as he's NOT 200 pounds. No way. He seems to be making the D calls as Hunt defers to him all the time, so he knows the system.  He could slide to OLB. If he stays at MLB, he should be a backup to Rodgers and Larson next year.

I keep waiting for Mason Bennett to do something special.  Still waiting.

Canady smart and tough. Like the rest, needs a few more pounds.

The thing about Blubaugh, he's being torched, but he never hangs his head. Hopefully he becomes something as soon as next year. He, too, should be a backup next year.

Zim is a DI QB who can win a game with his arm.

Next year we will be able to get way more pressure on qb's and Bluebaugh will lead the team in picks.  You are correct he is a competitor that never hangs his head and keeps fighting.  He will be AA by the time he is senior.

On that 3rd and 2 where JJ got stuffed for a loss we had Adeotti out wide and the db was giving him 9 yards of cushion. 9. We needed 2. Instead we send him on the jet sweep action. We need to be able to check at the line in that situation and just take that offering because they had nobody out there that would’ve touched him until he had the first down and then some.

to further compound the bad call of a jet sweep action, we ran the ball with JJ to the same side of the sweep action.  Not sure why we would not send motion one way to change the strength call of the defense which in many cases shifts the d line angle of attack to the play side; then get a seal or influence block and run backside for an easier chance to pick up the needed two yards.
