Do people go to their baseball games? The Big East actually had teams in the South then, like USF, and UCONN actually won a baseball regional at Clemson, so in spite of only playing home games in front of 400 odd fans, they were good. At the time, UCONN hockey didn't even give out scholarships and vb is notoriously bad on the east coast. Lax and soccer are probably more popular for fans therè. BarnWinterSportsEngelstad
When it rains it pours at UND! All these accomplishments are certainly a success story, especially with there being 12 teams in 3 of the conferences and 13 teams in the other conference. Another Grand Slam, (taking The Sicatoka's phrase from a previous post), this time the four coaches of the Conference Championship Teams.

I was on another site and a Montana poster congratulated us about these accomplishments on this thread and that Montana is a charter member of the Big Sky and has been trying to do this and we did it in 5 years. Another UND poster thanked him for his nice comments. Many Bizon up the river are total opposzittttttttttttttes.

Amazing how much can change so quickly? It’s been the MO of Brian Jones since joining the Big Sky its inconsistency. We go up then down it’s a roller coaster. Maybe the Summit will bring better luck, but I’m sure the new AD will keep a close eye on him.
