jdub27
Shot terribly, gave up the lead, still managed to come back and win. Another reminder that you aren't anywhere close to good enough to win without showing up. Should have enough of those by now but 2-1 in league play, get another one on Saturday. NAU 348th out of 351 schools in the RPI rankings. Plus NAU missing one of their better players who had 16 last year at the Betty. It seems he was injured last game. Was in street clothes and walking boot tonight.
siouxfan512
Ill take the win, but that was hideous. Should have been up by 20 at half if our guys would finish their shots. Drick has looked careless with the ball. Shanks hook shot is more of a fastball. Collins has taken some really stupid foulds. Even Crandall had some pretty ugly layup attempts. Avants is a stud. Hooker finished the game nicely, but his shot has been off lately. I like they fast tempo game, but when the shot aren't falling they need to slow it down and stop forcing terrible shots/passes. Good news is UND absolutely has talent to win and beat good teams. Bad news they haven't played up to their talent level yet and have looked inconsistent. Hope they can keep getting some W's until they find their rhythm.
darell1976
You can't blow out everyone, but when you are playing the third worst team in all of DI at home at least control the whole game and not make it close. Was the team overlooking NAU? New Years hangover? Shake off the cobwebs and get ready for SUU.
BarnWinterSportsEngelstad
Seems like when we run and gun, we loose any concept of setting up a play, instead we force a pass or force a shot way too many times, like there's no adherence to a coach's game plan.
