SiouxDini Posted March 9, 2004 Posted March 9, 2004 According to Blais at the Sioux Boosters, Stafford will be on a line with Parise and Murray. Porter, Lundbohm, and Bucks will be on I assume the second line. So who will be on the 3rd and 4th lines? Also could someone fill me in on the latest defensive pairings. Go Sioux Quote
BigGreyAnt41 Posted March 9, 2004 Posted March 9, 2004 Schneider - Bina Greene - Jones Smaby - Fuher I think those were the D-pairings on Saturday. Quote
dagies Posted March 10, 2004 Posted March 10, 2004 I wonder why he took Stafford off that hot 4th line? Quote
SiouxTupa Posted March 10, 2004 Posted March 10, 2004 I agree. I'm all for that fourth line, but he knows what he's doing. I liked Parise, Murray, Genoway together I especially liked Bochenski, Lundbohm, Porter... We'll see, I've got faith in whatever is settled upon. Quote
Manderleigh13 Posted March 10, 2004 Posted March 10, 2004 Parise, Murray, Stafford Lundbohm, Porter, Bochenski Third and fourth are up in the air. Hale, Prpich-if he can play, Fylling McMahon, Palmiscno, Genoway Defense- my guess is Greene and Jones will start Schneider and Bina (started Sat so may be starting this weekend) Fuher and Smaby Goalie: Jake Brandt Quote
PCM Posted March 10, 2004 Posted March 10, 2004 Prpich-if he can play Prpich can and will play. Quote
SODAK SIOUX FAN Posted March 10, 2004 Posted March 10, 2004 I have to agree with dagies. Why break up the 4th line? Thought they have been playing very good together. What about Fabian? Quote
MinnesotaNorthStar Posted March 10, 2004 Posted March 10, 2004 Parise, Murray, Stafford Lundbohm, Porter, Bochenski Third and fourth are up in the air. Hale, Prpich-if he can play, Fylling McMahon, Palmiscno, Genoway Defense- my guess is Greene and Jones will start Schneider and Bina (started Sat so may be starting this weekend) Fuher and Smaby Goalie: Jake Brandt Third: McMahon-Prpich-Fylling Fourth: Hale-Genoway-Palmiscino/Fabian...after the way Palmo played on Sat., I think he gets the edge Defense, as usual...... Greene - Jones Schneider - Bina Smaby - Fuher Quote
Goon Posted March 10, 2004 Posted March 10, 2004 Musical Lines again. I suppose they will be changed by the second period anyways. Quote
MinnesotaNorthStar Posted March 10, 2004 Posted March 10, 2004 Musical Lines again. I suppose they will be changed by the second period anyways. Since when does Blais shuffle lines? Quote
farce poobah Posted March 10, 2004 Posted March 10, 2004 The shuffling makes sense to me ... If we're going to go very deep into the playoffs, we'll need the first line scoring consistently, and the chemistry with Stafford-Murray-Parise seems better than with Genoway. Just IMHO. Schneider played a lot with Smaby earlier this year, but the chemistry with Bina seems better. Like that pairing. Quote
UNDProud Posted March 11, 2004 Posted March 11, 2004 What Sioux boosters are you talking about? Quote
SiouxTupa Posted March 11, 2004 Posted March 11, 2004 Can anybody tell me when the coaches show aires? I got home from class early today, and I was hoping to catch it. Clearly I did not, but I was just wondering. Recap this week, PCM? Quote
SiouxTupa Posted March 11, 2004 Posted March 11, 2004 Nevermind...you're the man PCM, you're the man! Quote
PCM Posted March 11, 2004 Posted March 11, 2004 Prpich can and will play. Or, based on what Blais said on tonight's coaches show, maybe not. Quote
redwing77 Posted March 11, 2004 Posted March 11, 2004 If Prpich doesn't play, what would Deano do? Would he play a defensive forward like Canady? Or would he play a potential scoring forward on the checking line like Massen? What about: 3rd line: Hale-McMahon-Fylling/Canady 4th Line: Palmo-Genoway-Massen/Fabian I honestly don't know what the strategy is behind playoff hockey other than to win Quote
