redwing77 Posted February 22, 2004 Posted February 22, 2004 Nice performance by the fourth line. Quote
sioux fan in phoenix Posted February 22, 2004 Posted February 22, 2004 Good time for Fabian to do so well with all those scouts in attendance. This 3rd period sounds like a perpetual 5x3 for the Sioux. Quote
jk Posted February 22, 2004 Posted February 22, 2004 Nice to hear that some hats made it onto the ice for Fabian. Quote
dagies Posted February 22, 2004 Posted February 22, 2004 Way to go Fabian! When we were in GF for the Denver series we ran into the Fabian family at Whitey's after the saturday game. We gave up our table to them because they were a much larger group and couldn't find a spot. We moved to a smaller table. The point of all this is that during the encounter, we were all impressed with how genuinely nice Eric was. Easy to cheer for him. Quote
PCM Posted February 22, 2004 Posted February 22, 2004 Mavs fans are yelling foul words at Hennessy. Very classy. Quote
7>4 Posted February 22, 2004 Posted February 22, 2004 Great weekend for the Sioux. My guess is that we see Brandt next Friday. Does Fabian stay in the lineup or does DB go with experience? Still 3-2 CC. 2:45 left. 10.........................WOW.............................. Quote
redwing77 Posted February 22, 2004 Posted February 22, 2004 "Put that on your F$%^ing radio show!" Wow. Way to be heard. 10-1 final Quote
Manderleigh13 Posted February 22, 2004 Posted February 22, 2004 Way to go Lundbohm! Jones assist-Yay Jonesy Quote
sioux fan in phoenix Posted February 22, 2004 Posted February 22, 2004 Lundbohm makes it 10-1. TH going out on a limb to say this one is over Quote
sprig Posted February 22, 2004 Posted February 22, 2004 17-2 third period shots. Want to be clear that shots don't mean anything, however. Game 44-16. Mavs are not good. Quote
Mad Man Posted February 22, 2004 Posted February 22, 2004 Does Fabian stay in the lineup or does DB go with experience? I can think of three reasons why he will be in the line-up next Weekend. Quote
dagies Posted February 22, 2004 Posted February 22, 2004 "Put that on your F$%^ing radio show!" Wow. Way to be heard. 10-1 final Not surprised to hear this stuff from Mankato fans based on my experience there the past few years. On another topic, if the word about all the scouts is true, why do you suppose they are all there tonite? Did Drew just send out the word "I'm going to opt in to the draft this spring"? Quote
Manderleigh13 Posted February 22, 2004 Posted February 22, 2004 Fabian will be in the line-up- at least he better be. Quote
jk Posted February 22, 2004 Posted February 22, 2004 There are of course bigger fish to fry, but the Sioux locked up fourth place in the league tonight. Depending on the Wisconsin/SCSU outcome, third may be just one point from being locked up. Good stuff. Quote
sioux fan in phoenix Posted February 22, 2004 Posted February 22, 2004 Whatever Blais does, I hope he doesn't change these line combos. Granted, Mankato is awful but no need to disrupt what we've got here. Quote
OETKB Posted February 22, 2004 Posted February 22, 2004 Fabian scores off a feed from "the disappointing Drew Stafford." It's 9-1 Sioux! Fabian gets the hat trick! With scouts in the stands, Stafford only manages 4 points on the night. You might think he would put some effort into the game. Quote
Mad Man Posted February 22, 2004 Posted February 22, 2004 Dare I say Fabian--Rookie of The Week. Quote
OETKB Posted February 22, 2004 Posted February 22, 2004 Dean Blais: "We may have to rent ice next week in Duluth" (On Saturday, in order to do a skate-around). Tonight was "kind of a mismatch". Quote
Smoggy Posted February 22, 2004 Posted February 22, 2004 I'm just pleased as a summer rain that Brandt played well. Sounded like he made a few big saves, but stayed in the game even though he only faced 16 shots. I think he locked up the #1. Quote
