For the Mavs, fesitiness paid off as 6th player Don Adam does everything short of giving himself an assist to try to keep the Mavs in the game. Mavs first star goes to Joseph/ Second star goes to Backes. Third star goes to Don Adam. As for the AR's penalty, this is a common business practice. It is the role of the subordinates to try to cover up when the boss snafu's bigger than usual. The AR knew UND was getting the short end of the stick so this was a peacemaker call.
